East Anglia is home to fenland, marshland, rolling hills, popular coastal resorts, and major urban areas such as Norwich, Cambridge, Peterborough and Ipswich. Many parts of the region are within easy reach of London, pushing up property prices in those areas.
The Cambridge area is also relatively expensive, as are towns and villages within commuting distance of the popular university city – but elsewhere, in more remote parts of the region, you can get a lot more for your money.
