Experts in housing-led regeneration, Lovell has been building homes for over 40 years. It has worked with local authorities and housing associations to help rebuild communities. Lovell designs, builds and sells new homes, but also has a division dedicated to refurbishing and maintaining homes.
The housebuilder offers a wide range of houses, from contemporary apartments for first-time buyers, cosier homes for downsizers and larger, more spacious family homes. Homes can be personalised to the buyers’ specific tastes, and the range of properties include both sustainable and affordable homes.
Lovell offers the government-backed Help to Buy scheme on selected properties, and its Helping Hands scheme, where it will help the buyer sell their current home without charging any estate agent fees.
Over the last few years, it has been introducing more sustainable practices in order to create lasting economic, environmental and social benefits. Lovell recruits local apprentices and also offers vocational training opportunities.
The company took home Bronze at the WhatHouse? Awards 2023 for Best Regeneration Scheme.
In 1999, Lovell was acquired by the Morgan Sindall Group, a leading UK construction and regeneration organisation. The company has around 900 employees across seven regional teams.
