ST GEORGE UNVEILS ‘THE JUNIPER’, A NEW TWO-BEDROOM SHOWHOME AT SILKSTREAM
St George (a proud member of the Berkeley Group) has collaborated with interior design studio HWCD to unveil ‘The Juniper’, a spacious new two-bedroom Showhome in Lindley House at Silkstream, a growing parkland neighbourhood in West Hendon.
Inspired by the area’s nature-rich surroundings, and Silkstream’s biodiversity net gain score of 895%, this new home – situated on the eleventh floor of the sixteen storey building – has been designed to capture the essence of nature throughout the home.
Bringing the outdoors in, ‘The Juniper’ Showhome is named after an evergreen juniper tree, a symbol of nature’s enduring beauty which is often found in diverse and luscious landscapes.
Drawing inspiration from the ancient Japanese wellness tradition of “forest bathing”, the ritual of dedicating time to being surrounded by trees, HWCD has filled the apartment with a palette of earth-inspired tones and textures to invoke the protective nature of forest canopies and create a calming and intimate space.
