Redrow offers homebuyers access to 95% mortgages at Flintshire developments

If house-hunters in north Wales with only a 5% deposit to offer lost hope of buying a new home in the region when the NewBuy Cymru mortgage scheme was scrapped earlier this year, Redrow Homes is offering some welcome good news. The housebuilder is offering a 95% mortgage scheme in partnership with Principality Building Society at two developments in Flintshire.

Anita Williams, sales director for Redrow Homes (NW), says: "This fantastic offer will help people who want to take their first step onto the property ladder as well as those who already own a home but are looking to ‘trade up'. In our experience, mortgage availability - or the lack of it - and pressure to find a high deposit has been the biggest hindrance to people who want to buy a home in Wales.

"This offer is a huge boost for Welsh purchasers, especially since the government-backed 95% mortgage scheme NewBuy is only available in England. So it's now a great time to talk to us about making that longed-for move to a Redrow home at one of our two stunning Flintshire developments."

Homebuyers will find these mortgages available at Heathlands in Buckley and Heritage Park in Penymynydd. Each development offers a choice of home styles from Redrow's acclaimed New Heritage Collection, which combines traditional architecture with modern, high-specification interiors. Prices for a three-bedroom property start at £184,995 at Heathlands and £194,995 at Heritage Park.

"We'll be working with the lender and can refer customers to our mortgage specialists for financial advice. We'll be making the process as simple, swift and straight-forward as possible," adds Williams.
