What House? bulletin on this week’s events and recent new homes launches

Every week we'll tell you about the events being held at new homes developments across the UK over the next seven days, as well as recent news you may have missed. Find out about the launch of the very latest developments, the unveiling of new show homes, open days and much more.


Barratt Homes - Thursday 7 November, from 5.00pm to 8.00pm - Open Evening at Barrows Place in Tipton, West Midlands. The Barratt team hosts an event where house-hunters can find out more about Part Exchange and Help to Buy. The development features a mix of two-, three- and four-bedroom homes priced from £120,000 to £190,000.

Taylor Wimpey - Saturday 9 November, from 10.00am to 5.00pm - A new sales centre will be unveiled at White Willow Park in Canley, Coventry, West Midlands. Set on the site of a former primary school, the development will provide 211 two-, three- and four-bedroom homes priced from £119,995, £154,995 and £194,995 respectively, with Help to Buy available.

South West

Elan Homes - Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 November, from 9.30am to 4.30pm - Help to Buy weekend at Harbin Fields in Pen Mill, Yeovil, Somerset. Meet the Elan team and mortgage experts to find out how the government-backed scheme can help you purchase a four-bedroom home at the development, with prices starting at £249,995.


Barratt Homes - Wednesday 6 November, from 5.00pm to 7.30pm - Marketing suite and show home to be launched at The Courthouse in Westminster, SW1. The development will feature luxury apartments and penthouses priced from £665,000 to £6.5m.

ISIS Waterside Regeneration - Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 November - Launch event for The Arbor at Brentford Lock West in Brentford. Book an appointment to be able to reserve off-plan (telephone 020 8569 7449), with apartments, duplexes and townhouses available from £264,950.


Barratt Homes - Saturday 92 and Sunday 10 November - A series of Help to Buy events continues this week at three Barratt East Scotland developments: Royal Gardens in Wester Inch Village of Bathgate; The Beeches at Kirkliston, near Edinburgh and Church Hill Brae in Broxburn. Learn more about how the recently launched Scottish government scheme can help you purchase a new-build home.

McCarthy & Stone - Thursday 7 to Saturday 9 November - The specialist retirement developer has a stand at The 50+ Show at the SECC in Glasgow, providing details of the company's Later Living and Assisted Living developments across Scotland.

Loughor, South Wales - Persimmon Homes - Now open, Kingsbridge Fields, a development of 80 one-, two-, three- and four-bedroom homes close to Swansea. The company's own Help You Buy scheme is available here.

Fairmilehead, Edinburgh - CALA Homes - Now open, two new show homes at the development of family properties. The ‘Lowther' and ‘Crichton' homes have been decorated by Jeffreys Interiors.

Broadwood, Scotland - Bellway Homes - Now open, a new development near Cumbernauld. Caledonia View will comprise 75 three-, four- and five-bedroom homes with Part Exchange, Express Mover, Help to Buy (Scotland) and MI New Home available on selected plots.

Taunton, Somerset - Redrow Homes - A new show home has been unveiled at The Heathfields. A four-bedroom ‘Harrogate' property will cost from £332,995.

Harrow, Greater London - Home Group - Cllr Nana Asante, Mayor of Harrow, has officially unveiled the first phase of the final development at The Spectrum, providing 152 more apartments and houses for sale.

Tottenham Hale, Great London - Bellway Homes - The third phase has now been launched at Pavilions N17, a collection of one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments priced from £182,995.

Stansted Mountfitchet, Essex - Taylor Wimpey - A new ‘urban square' has been unveiled at Foresthall Park by local councillors and the Taylor Wimpey team.

Deanshanger, Northamptonshire - Redrow Homes - Show homes are now open at Becket Manor.

Market Harborough, Leicestershire - Redrow Homes - Three new show homes open at Rockingham View, the ‘Cambridge', the ‘Stratford' and the ‘Richmond'.
