West Midlands new homes round-up – our pick of today’s best new builds

The WhatHouse? team chooses its favourites from the current range of new build homes for sale across the West Midlands region...

The West Midlands has seen encouraging levels of housebuilding over the past year – with the highest levels of new homes being registered across the region since 2007.

This, along with the availability of purchase assistance schemes such as Help to Buy, is encouraging news for those who aspire to own their own home.

The chief executive of the National House Building Council (NHBC), Mike Quinton, said the detached home in particular is enjoying a resurgence, as well as semi-detached homes, while the proportion of new flats being registered has been shrinking.

Below we have picked out a variety of current new housing developments in the West Midlands that includes apartments, terraced properties, townhouses, semi-detached homes and detached, executive properties:

 

Pennine Grange in Tamworth, Staffordshire (Redrow Homes)

Pennine GrangeBrand new three- and four-bedroom homes are on sale at Pennine Grange in the large, historic market town of Tamworth: the second biggest settlement in Staffordshire after Stoke-on-Trent, located just 18 miles from Birmingham city centre.
