From reasonably-priced starter homes to exclusive, luxury pads, East Anglia offers a diverse range of new housing developments to suit most tastes and budgets – although prices vary dramatically from one part of the region to another.
Hefty price tags tend to come with properties located in and around Cambridge, as well as those within a reasonable commute of London.
Surveyors have predicted that the only regions where the post-Brexit dip in house prices is likely to persist over the next year are London and East Anglia – a trend that will be welcomed by potential first-time buyers. Whether this trend extends to new build houses as well as resale homes is yet to be seen, however.
Our latest selection of currently-available new developments in East Anglia includes options in Norfolk and Norwich, Essex, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire:

Set on the banks of the River Colne in the village of Rowhedge near Colchester, this waterfront development has proved very popular, with the first release now almost sold out.

Monika Hanlon, Regional Sales Director at Bloor Homes Eastern, said: “We’ve been absolutely overwhelmed by the response to our Rowhedge development ever since we released the first homes for sale back in May. Rowhedge’s position close to Colchester and the coast makes it an attractive location for home-hunters, but from speaking to buyers who have visited the development, it is clear that Rowhedge Wharf’s unique waterfront setting is also a huge part of its appeal.
“The development has so far proved popular with a wide variety of buyers, from first-time purchasers and families using Help to Buy, to downsizers looking for the perfect place to enjoy their retirement.”
