This month is one of the very busiest in the UK new homes market, with a host of new developments being launched, events taking place for buyers to find out more about the homes they are interested in, and some special offers from housebuilders to make their properties stand out from the crowd.

SOUTH WEST

Launch of new homes in Westbury - David Wilson Homes is opening Mill Brook, a brand new development in Westbury, Wiltshire this Saturday 8 September. The event, running from noon to 5.00pm, will be attended by the Mayor of Westbury and offer a barbecue and live music as entertainment. Mill Brook will be bringing a mix of new three- and four-bedroom homes to the town, and visitors to the site can see what to expect in two show houses. New view home to open in Yeovil - On Saturday 8 September Barratt Homes is opening a new view home at its Wyndham Park development in Yeovil, Somerset. This brand new home is completed but unfurnished, giving visitors a real look at the layout and space offered by the three-bedroom ‘Maidstone’ style house. This home type is priced from £211,995. Doors open at Melksham development this weekend - Barratt Homes unveils its Sandridge Place development in Melksham, Wiltshire on Saturday 8th September, giving house-hunters the first chance to see details of the two-, three- and four-bedroom homes on sale there. Among the properties for sale are a four-bedroom ‘Kingsley’ design for £304,995 and the four-bedroom ‘Radleigh’, priced at £369,995. WALES

New apartments launched in Barry - The Waterside @ The Quays development from Barratt Homes now has more choice of property for sale with the release of a collection of one- and two-bedroom apartments. The new one- and two-bedroom Aspen apartments are priced from £115,995. In the Vale of Glamorgan, this development is on the doorstep of the Welsh coast, with Barry Island Pleasure Park and Amusements located just a mile away. Help to Buy Wales is available on these new homes. First-time buyers will also benefit from no Stamp Duty. YORKSHIRE/NORTH EAST

Last three homes for sale at Newton Kyme developments - House-hunters in North Yorkshire have a final chance to secure a home at St Andrew’s Place and The Rectory, popular Redrow Homes development in Newton Kyme, with just three homes left on the market there. The company hosts an open day this Saturday 8 September where visitors can see these houses. An appointment to get a convenient time to look around is recommended. A mix of Help to Buy, Part Exchange and other incentive schemes can be tailored to assist a purchaser to get the home they want. Prices range from £289,950 to £329,950. EAST MIDLANDS

Year-end sale at Lincolnshire development - Housebuilder Chestnut Homes is marking the financial year-end of its 30th anniversary with its Year End Sale (YES) campaign, which brings special offers and discounts of up to £7,500 for a limited time on selected properties at its developments across the county, currently in Alford, Bardney, Boston and Coningsby. The government-back Help to Buy scheme is also available. New phase of homes released at Corby scheme - Barratt Homes is releasing a new phase of properties at its Lyveden Fields development in Corby, Northamptonshire this Saturday 8 September). It’s a new selection of four- and five-bedroom homes in some popular house types (such as the ‘Harrogate’, ‘Alnwick’ and ‘Knightsbridge’) with prices starting from £260,000, likely to attract upsizing family buyers due to the proximity to some excellent schools. New homes come to Derbyshire village - Saturday 8 September sees the launch of a new development in Codnor, a village a couple of miles east of Ripley and around nine miles north of Derby. Peveril Homes’ Holborn Place will deliver two-, three- and four-bedroom homes as well as some two-bedroom bungalows, and from Day 1, visitors to the site can see the specification and design at the fully furnished four-bedroom ‘Ingleby’ and ‘Bradgate’ show homes and the three-bedroom ‘Tissington’ view home.  The development is open to house-hunters daily, from 11.00am to 5.00pm. SOUTH EAST

Launch of new apartments in Hampshire - Saturday 8 September sees the release of a new collection of homes in the village of Hawley, just north of Farnborough in Hampshire, providing a mix of one- and two-bedroom apartments perfect for first-time buyers. Prices start at £214,995 at Ashberry Homes’ The Hawley Collection, with buyers able to choose from a range of fixture and fitting upgrades to personalise their home. Farnborough and Camberley are a both a short drive away, as are major roads the A30, A33 and M3, while the village itself has a good range of shops and leisure facilities. New homes collection in Kent to be unveiled - Ashberry Homes is launching Victoria Gardens in Wouldham this weekend, Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 September, which will be bringing 87 homes to a development comprising over 1,000 in the next few years, known as Peters Village. Here, buyers can choose from one- and two-bedroom apartments and houses with from two to five bedrooms. The first phase from this housebuilder sees 20 homes released, including two-bedroom coach houses and three- and four-bedroom houses. New family homes come to Berkshire - Redrow has just unveiled The Loftings, a new development of two-, three- and four-bedroom homes in Maidenhead which it expects will especially attract family buyers. Each home can be purchased through the Help to Buy scheme. Mark Vanson, sales and marketing director for Redrow Homes (Southern Counties), says: “To date, The Loftings has offered a range of apartments. Ebbsfleet to welcome more Shared Ownership homes this weekend - Clarion Housing launches its latest collection of new homes at Castle Hill, Ebbsfleet Garden City in Kent this Saturday 8 September. Unity Gardens offers 65 two-and three-bedroom homes available through Shared Ownership with a minimum 35% stake. Prices start at £112,875 (full market value of £322,500) for a two-bedroom home and at £129,500 (full market value of £370,000) for a three-bedroom property. Help to Buy launch in West Drayton this Saturday - A London Borough of Hillingdon development sees the launch of Help to Buy London this weekend at Redrow Homes' Padcroft in West Drayton, where a selection of one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments will be available to purchase under the government-funded scheme. The marketing suite is open from 10.00am to 4.00pm on Saturday 8 September for potential buyers to find out more. Shared Ownership apartments now for sale in Battersea - Peabody has just launched a range of Shared Ownership homes at the highly regarded Battersea Reach development.
