With the Advent calendar now open, the countdown to Christmas is on and house-hunters can still find a range of special offers on new homes for sale, and a host of site events and new developments being launched... 


EAST MIDLANDS 

Just five homes left at Chapel-en-le-Frith site – Lovell has just five homes unsold at The Coppice, a development in the Peak District village of Chapel-en-le-Frith. These four- and five-bedroom homes, each with a private garage, allocated parking and a private rear garden, can all be moved into by the New Year and are all available via the government-backed Help to Buy scheme, which requires a 5% deposit and 75% mortgage. Limited time left for Armed Forces Help to Buy – Serving Armed Forces personnel have a limited time to make use of the special Help to Buy scheme run for them by the government. With it, they can borrow up to 50% of their annual salary, up to a maximum of £25,000, to help put down a deposit or pay other significant costs such as solicitors’ and estate agents’ fees. The scheme only runs until the end of December. Chestnut Homes offers a range of homes at its developments around Lincolnshire which are open to the scheme. Managing dierctor David Newton, says: “The Forces Help to Buy scheme has been a huge success. SOUTH EAST 

Last few homes for sale in Broughton – The popular Centurion Place development in Broughton, Buckinghamshire, just four miles from Milton Keynes, has only a few units left for sale. The Barratt Homes site has created a variety of two- to four-bedroom homes suitable for a whole range of buyers. Among the homes currently available to reserve here is the three-storey, four-bedroom ‘Hexham’, which is priced at £425,000, with a dual-aspect kitchen/dining room, two en suite bedrooms and a shower room for the other two to share. New show home open in Hersham – Bewley Homes has opened a show house at Jubilee Gardens, its development of 168 homes in Hersham, Surrey. It’s a four-bedroom townhouse, fully decorated and fitted to demonstrate the standards and specification buyers can expect. Jubilee Gardens will be bringing apartments and houses to the town. Two new show homes unveiled in Cranleigh – House-hunters in Surrey can now take a first-hand look at two new show homes at Little Meadow, the Bellway development in Cranleigh. The development will bring 75 homes with one to five bedrooms to ‘England’s largest village’, and the housebuilder has fitted and decorated a three-bedroom ‘Lotus’ and four-bedroom ‘Clover’ house to give visitors to the site an idea of design and specification. There’s also an undecorated ‘view home’, the two-bedroom ‘Mallow’. Apartments and townhouses at new Winchester development – Multi-award-winning Berkeley Homes is bringing over 200 new homes to Winchester at its new Knights Quarter development. It’s a mix of apartments (with one, two or three bedrooms), penthouses and four-bedroom townhouses to suit all sorts of buyers. These will be set around green open spaces, a central square and tree-lined streets. The development is a 10-minute walk from Winchester station, about an hour from London. New incentive scheme introduced in Reading – There’s a new incentive to buyers at Verto in Reading, with the developer CNM Estates offering to make a contribution to Stamp Duty on all apartments priced up to £500,000. Nearly half the 103 units in the 18-storey tower have already been sold, but there is still plenty of choice, with prices currently from £270,000 and the first buyers expected to move in next March. Just a few homes left at Dartford site – Barratt Homes has only a few homes left for sale at Phoenix Quarter in Dartford, Kent. Prices start from £392,995 for a three-bedroom house and it’s £387,995 for a four-bedroom house, with Help to Buy available on all properties. The development is located just a few minutes’ walk from well-connected Dartford station and within easy reach of the town centre and road/public transport links. New show apartment to visit in Guildford – The popular and well-connected town of Guildford in Surrey now has a new show home, with Bellway unveiling a fully decorated apartment at its Trinity Quarter development. New homes launched in Thurrock – Bellway recently released the first homes for sale at in Renovo development in Thurrock, Essex. It will provide 200 properties, a mix of one- and two-bedroom apartments and two-, three- and four-bedroom houses starting from £219,995, which are likely to appeal to first-time buyers, upsizers, downsizers and investors. The developer is offering to pay 100% stamp duty to purchasers securing one of the remaining homes at 330 Clapham Road. This could reduce the typical associated costs of moving home by up to £79,750. Christmas reservation offer on Shared Ownership in Stratford – Notting Hill Genesis has a special offer to anyone who reserves one of its Shared Ownership properties at the New Garden Quarter development in Stratford before Christmas.
