Established in 1983, award-winning Lagan Homes is Northern Ireland’s largest housebuilder, and extended its reach across England in 2007. It has developments across the UK, primarily in the Midlands and South East of England.
Lagan Homes works exclusively in the residential sector, and seeks to transform unique, creative designs into stylish and practical homes. More and more, the housebuilder is using green construction methods to optimise resources, including recycling and reducing waste.
The housebuilder offers assistance to homebuyers purchasing a property with schemes such as the government-backed Help to Buy, Part Exchange and Assisted Move. Help to Buy allows first-time buyers to purchase a Lagan home with just a 5% deposit and a 75% mortgage, with the government providing a 20% equity loan that is interest-free for the first five years. Help to Buy is available on all Lagan Home properties up to a value of £600,000. Part Exchange is trading in a house you already own against the value of a new home, and removes the stress of being stuck in a chain.
The company also offers an after sales service, to ensure that homebuyers are happy with their property after the sale has been completed.
Lagan Homes is a sustainable business, and it works closely with schools and neighbourhood groups to provide support and funding for local causes.
