Brand new townhouses proving popular in Aberdeen – The modern take on townhouses are proving popular at two Barratt Homes sites in Aberdeen. Open Days at Scottish new retirement developments – Across Scotland, McCarthy and Stone is hosting exclusive Open Day events at its Retirement Living and Lifestyle Living developments, giving potential buyers a chance to get a detailed look at what the homes and facilities are like. Retirement Living events are taking place in Anstruther, Blairgowrie, Newton Mearns and North Berwick on Tuesday 19 and Wednesday 20 March; and a Lifestyle Living event for buyers interested in an apartment at either Ashbrae or Westerly will take place at Westerly in Bearsden on Friday 22 and Sunday 23 March. Stamp Duty incentive at Cheshire site – Elan Homes is offering to cover Stamp Duty on selected homes at Culcheth Green, its development of four- and five-bedroom homes in Culcheth, Cheshire – which could be a saving of between £8,500 and £14,000 for buyers. An alternative offer would see the housebuilder offering a £10,000 discount voucher. There are only 15 plots on the semi-rural site. Launch of new homes in Yate – South Gloucestershire house-hunters will have a new collection of homes to investigate this weekend, with the launch of Ladden Garden Village in Yate on Saturday 16 March, from 12.00noon to 5.00pm. Barratt Homes and David Wilson Homes will be bringing 2,000 new homes to the development, which is located 10 miles north-east of Bristol. This first phase offers a range of two-, three- and four-bedroom homes and will be bringing a nursery, primary school, local centre, allotments, sports pitches and office space. Just four homes left on new release of Llandudno homes – Beech developments saw 14 of the first 18 plots on the new second phase of homes at its Llyn Marl development in Llandudno Junction reserved in just 30 minutes. In all, the development will be delivering 52 homes, a mix of two-, three- and four-bedroom properties, as well as a children’s play area. New Shared Ownerhip homes come to Bedfordshire – L&Q has launched a new range of houses in Bedfordshire which are available through Shared Ownership. At Willow Grove in Wixams, an area bringing 4,600 home to the southern fringes of Bedford, there are now two- and three-bedroom houses with prices start from £98,000 and £124,000 respectively for a 40% share (based on full market values of £245,000 and £310,000).
