WEST MIDLANDS

New show home unveiled in Kings Norton – House-hunters in Birmingham now have a brand new show home to investigate at The Oaks in Kings Norton, around seven miles south of the centre of the city. The fully furnished and decorated property is the double-fronted, four-bedroom (two of them with en suite) ‘Magnolia’ house type. The development comprises a mix of homes with two to four bedrooms as well as some newly released two-bedroom apartments, which start at £138,995. Houses start at £211,500. SCOTLAND  

Help to Buy available at Glasgow development – Miller Homes is offering a range of home available with Help to Buy (Scotland) at its Springhill Meadows development in Barrhead, East Renfrewshire, around nine miles south-west of Glasgow city centre. Buyers can choose between a range of family homes and a collection of two-bedroom Cottage Apartments priced from £137,000 and qualifying for the government-backed equity loan scheme. As well as its own good shops, schools and leisure facilities, Barrhead has good public and private transport links to the city. Visitors are welcome Thursday to Monday, from 10.30am to 5.30pm. Brand new townhouses proving popular in Aberdeen – The modern take on townhouses are proving popular at two Barratt Homes sites in Aberdeen. The ‘Lauriston’ house type is set over three storeys: entrance lobby, WC, integral garage and kitchen/dining room on the ground floor; living room and double bedroom on the first floor; en suite master bedroom, double bedroom and family bathroom on the second floor. One of these is available to but at Westburn Gardens (priced from £329,995) and The Gardens @ Riverside Quarter (priced from £289,995). Show homes and marketing suites at both developments are open from 12.30pm to 5.30pm on Monday and from 10am to 5.30pm, Thursday to Sunday. Open Days at Scottish new retirement developments – Across Scotland, McCarthy and Stone is hosting exclusive Open Day events at its Retirement Living and Lifestyle Living developments, giving potential buyers a chance to get a detailed look at what the homes and facilities are like. Retirement Living events are taking place in Anstruther, Blairgowrie, Newton Mearns and North Berwick on Tuesday 19 and Wednesday 20 March; and a Lifestyle Living event for buyers interested in an apartment at either Ashbrae or Westerly will take place at Westerly in Bearsden on Friday 22 and Sunday 23 March. They will take place from 11.00am to 3.00pm each day. Visitors can enjoy a glass of fizz, while new visitors will also receive a £20 M&S voucher. NORTH WEST  

Stamp Duty incentive at Cheshire site – Elan Homes is offering to cover Stamp Duty on selected homes at Culcheth Green, its development of four- and five-bedroom homes in Culcheth, Cheshire – which could be a saving of between £8,500 and £14,000 for buyers. An alternative offer would see the housebuilder offering a £10,000 discount voucher. There are only 15 plots on the semi-rural site. Current prices range from £369,995 for a four-bedroom detached ‘Brandon’ house type, which comes with integral a single garage, up to £474,995 for a five-bedroom detached ‘Mellor’ with an integral double garage. Find out more at www.elan-homes.co.uk  

 

SOUTH WEST 

New development opens in Keynsham – Crest Nicholson has just launched its brand new Aurora Open Living Collection at Hygge Park in Keynsham. It’s a new direction for Crest Nicholson, with homes inspired by the Danish ‘Hygge’ concept of comfort and wellbeing. There is innovative design inside and out on the selection of two-bedroom apartments and two-, three- and four-bedroom houses. There are three show homes now open to house-hunters. Launch of new homes in Yate – South Gloucestershire house-hunters will have a new collection of homes to investigate this weekend, with the launch of Ladden Garden Village in Yate on Saturday 16 March, from 12.00noon to 5.00pm. Barratt Homes and David Wilson Homes will be bringing 2,000 new homes to the development, which is located 10 miles north-east of Bristol. This first phase offers a range of two-, three- and four-bedroom homes and will be bringing a nursery, primary school, local centre, allotments, sports pitches and office space. Prices at the launch start at £250,000 for properties from David Wilson Homes and £299,995 for properties from Barratt Homes  

 

WALES 

Just four homes left on new release of Llandudno homes – Beech developments saw 14 of the first 18 plots on the new second phase of homes at its Llyn Marl development in Llandudno Junction reserved in just 30 minutes. In all, the development will be delivering 52 homes, a mix of two-, three- and four-bedroom properties, as well as a children’s play area. Prices currently start at £135,000 for a two-bedroom apartment, £175,000 for a two-bedroom townhouse and £185,000 for a four-bedroom townhouse. Help to Buy Wales is available. A third phase is set to launch this summer. The development is open to house-hunters from 10.00am to 5.00pm Thursday to Monday and from 10.00am to 4.00pm on Saturday and Sunday. EAST MIDLANDS 

New Shared Ownerhip homes come to Bedfordshire – L&Q has launched a new range of houses in Bedfordshire which are available through Shared Ownership. At Willow Grove in Wixams, an area bringing 4,600 home to the southern fringes of Bedford, there are now two- and three-bedroom houses with prices start from £98,000  and £124,000  respectively for a 40% share (based on full market values of  £245,000 and £310,000).  Three of six new schools there are already open . It’s under 20 minutes by car from the centre of Bedford and its station, with its frequent trains into central London. SOUTH EAST  

Only one of two luxury homes in Offham still available – Regalpoint Homes is building just two luxury homes in Offham, Kent, and one has already been reserved off-plan by a keen buyer. The remaining home is expected to be completed in October 2019, a family home with delightful rural views across the Kent countryside. The homes are fitted to a high specification throughout. There’s an ‘Outstanding’ primary school a five-minute drive from the front door, and West Malling station is 10 minutes away, with a journey tome of under an hour into London Victoria. New show homes coming to Haywards Heath – Redrow opens two new show homes at its Penlands Grange development in Haywards Heath, West Sussex on Saturday 16 March. The ‘Marlborough’ and ‘Richmond’ are both from Redrow’s award-winning Heritage Collection. This development comprises 29 three-, four- and five-bedroom family homes, all fitted to the housebuilder’s premium specification. 25 of the homes from the earlier release are already occupied. First show home open at Hassocks development – Barratt Homes has opened its first show home at Saxon Mills, a development in Hassocks, West Sussex. It’s a three-storey, three-bedroom ‘Abbington’ house type and has been furnished and decorated throughout by well-respected interior design company Claude Hooper. LONDON 

New luxury apartments near Royal Busy Park – Aquinna Homes is restoring a heritage building to bring 21 luxury apartments to Hampton Hill, close to Royal Bushy Park. Eachone at Garrick House matches the historical architecture with up-to-date interior specification.
