The Elizabeth Line: New Homes From Reading To Farringdon

We’ve taken a look at the current range of new homes for sale and rent along the Elizabeth line, from Reading to Farringdon....

The Elizabeth line is a high-frequency rail service, serving 41 stations, running from Shenfield and Abbey Wood to Reading and Heathrow.

Thanks to the benefits the line brings, with its state-of-the-art trains and speedy, frequent services that have dramatically improved the journey times from east to west of the capital, the reach of this trainline makes the route an extremely popular place to live, and there is an extensive range of brand new homes available in these towns and suburbs.

We’ve taken a look at the current range of new homes for sale and rent along the line, we start in the east and look at some of the station stops on the route from Reading to Farringdon…

Reading

Around a 10-minute drive from the station, St Edward’s Bankside Gardens is a lakeside development surrounded by acres of parkland and landscaped gardens. There are great amenities for people living here, with a co-working studio, residents' gym and a cinema room as well as a useful concierge service. With over 60% of homes now sold, L&Q at Huntley Wharf is under a mile of the station and right now offers a collection of ready-to-move-into one-bedroom riverside homes, which are available to purchase exclusively through Shared Ownership. They have a contemporary design with neutral colour palette and feature fully fitted kitchens and floor-to-ceiling windows, and there are also a podium garden, cycle-paths, and riverside walkways on their doorstep. Maidenhead

From Countryside comes Watermark, a new canalside community offering green space, water features, pocket parks and direct access to Library Square.
