The best new homes for sale in Warwick

A market town steeped in history, Warwick is the county town of Warwickshire. Many of its historic buildings have been featured in a number of television shows, and The Warwickshire Museum has two sites in the town. The town is very well connected, it has two train stations, Warwick railway station, with regular services to London, Birmingham and Stratford-upon-Avon, and Warwick Parkway station. Warwick is on the M40 London-Birmingham motorway, and there are frequent bus services to Coventry, Leamington Spa and Stratford-upon-Avon.

The best new homes for sale in Stratford-upon-Avon 

A town divided by the River Avon, Stratford-upon-Avon is a thriving, busy town, filled with history, arts and theatre. There are plenty of shops, bars, cafes and restaurants, as well as music venues, museums and theatres.

The town is well connected, with two railway stations. Stratford-upon-Avon has direct links with Birmingham, Kidderminster, Solihull, Warwick and Leamington Spa, and a few trains a day travelling to and from London Marylebone. Stratford-upon-Avon Parkway opened in 2013, connecting residents to Birmingham and Kidderminster. For those travelling by road, Birmingham is just 22 miles away. 

Stratford-upon-Avon is a popular tourist destination owing to the fact it is the birthplace and burial place of William Shakespeare. The Royal Shakespeare Company is based in the Royal Shakespeare Theatre in the town, and the town boasts a number of theatres which are a huge draw for visitors.

The best new homes for sale in Rugby

Rugby is a market town in eastern Warwickshire, close to the River Avon. Rugby is a very well-connected town, with the M1, M6 and M45 motorways nearby. The town is served by a number of buses, connecting people to Coventry, Southam, Leamington Spa, Daventry, Leicester and Northampton, as well as local areas. The town benefits from a train station, with frequent services to London Euston, Birmingham New Street, Stafford and Crewe. Known for inventing the game of rugby, the town has a number of rugby teams, two non-league football teams and two golf courses. The town has plenty of shops, restaurants and bars, as well as plenty of leisure facilities. 

For families, there are a wide choice of primary, secondary and grammar schools, as well as Rugby School, one of England’s oldest and most prestigious schools.

Ashlawn Gardens (Barratt Homes)

The best new homes for sale in Kenilworth

Kenilworth is a market town in the Warwick district of Warwickshire filled with plenty of history. The town is home to Kenilworth Castle, a popular tourist attraction, managed by English Heritage. Kenilworth is well connected, with a train station offering direct services to Coventy, Nuneaton and Leamington Spa. For those needing to travel further afield, Warwick Parkway is just over 10 minutes drive away, and the M6, M40 and M42 are within 12 miles of the town. There are a number of good schools in the town, including Kenilworth School and Sixth Form, and the University of Warwick is just over two miles away. The town is a Fairtrade Town, and has a number of independent and high street stores, pubs, bars and restaurants, including a Michelin-starred restaurant. 

Located less than a mile from the town centre, Bovis Homes’ development, The Pavilions is a collection of one-, two-, three-, four- and five-bedroom homes. It’s located on the edge of the town and has farmland to the south. Prices at the development start from £180,000. 

Kenilworth Gate (Charles Church)

Another impressive development in the town is Kenilworth Gate from Charles Church. It’s located within walking distance of the high street, and Kenilworth train station is also within walking distance. Residents can enjoy being near Kenilworth Castle, and Abbey Fields is nearby, offering plenty of waterside walks, a lake and play area. Stoneleigh Abbey and Thickthorn Wood are close by, and those with kids will love Hatton Adventure World. For those with families, the development is close to the local schools.
