Keith OsborneFor many buyers, a new home in a private and quiet location is a top priority and a cul-de-sac offers both, away from passing traffic and pedestrians and offering a bit of welcome seclusion. Barratt Developments is offering a number of desirable houses of this type right now at developments across the East of England.
The WhatHouse? Award-winning developer, which sells new build homes under its Barratt Homes and David Wilson Homes brands, has a very wide selection of sites across Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire, Essex, Suffolk and Norfolk to suit many requirements and budgets. A few of these developments currently have excellent cul-de-sac homes for sale.
High Elms Park in Hullbridge, Essex, sees both brands between them selling a host of three-, four- and five-bedroom house types with prices starting at £448,995. Barratt Homes is offering a delightful four-bedroom semi-detached home with two private parking spaces in a cul-de-sac location. The ‘Fambridge’, at £464,995, is a spacious property set over three floors. On the ground floor are the kitchen, a living/dining room, cloakroom and a room that could be a study or a fourth bedroom. A lounge and bedroom one, with en suite, are on the first floor and there are two more bedrooms and a bathroom on the top floor. Buyers can ask about Part Exchange.
Also in Essex, Great Dunmow Grange is another development where both brands currently have homes for sale, with prices starting at £439,995 for a choice of three- to five-bedroom house types. David Wilson Homes has a number of high-specification homes for sale, one of which is the ‘Manning’, a detached five-bedroom property set in a quiet cul-de-sac. Up in Swaffham, Norfolk, is Barratt Homes’ Ceres Rise, where there are some great offers on the range of three-and four-bedroom homes, with prices starting at £259,995. A lounge at the front of the home leads to a kitchen/dining room at the rear, which in turn leads to the garden. Upstairs are two double bedrooms (one en suite), a single bedroom and a family bathroom. Overlooking green open space, this house also has two private parking spaces at the front.
