Housebuilder Launches Three Developments In Hampshire And Essex
Weston Homes has simultaneously launched the sales at three property developments at key towns in Hampshire and Essex.
They are Gun Hill Park in Aldershot, which sees the transformation of a Grade II listed military hospital; Victoria Central in Southend-on-Sea, featuring modern apartments in the popular seaside town; and 1023 West in Brentwood, where apartments and townhouses are being developed alongside a converted Georgian manor house. Together, over 2,200 buyers registered interest for these 400 or so new homes.
The three distinct developments offer individual communities with access to outdoor space via private balconies/terraces or shared landscaped areas to socialise with neighbours. Superfast broadband is also available from the day a buyer moves in, giving peace of mind to those who are working from home.
Gun Hill Park in Aldershot is a £60million (GDV) refurbishment of the listed Cambridge Military Hospital and will provide a collection of new build and converted homes. There will be two-, three- and four-bedroom houses as well as one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments, nestled in landscaped grounds and surrounded by woodland. The first phase includes homes at The Cambridge, the restored hospital which resembles a grand stately home, with prices from £299,000.

Victoria Central in Southend-on-Sea is a £53million (GDV) scheme providing contemporary apartments in a central location just moments from Southend Victoria Station. The development will be a 15-storey brick-and-glass façade building, with a seven-storey rear wing and landscaped courtyard. There will be a mixture of one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments, with several communal rooftop terraces offering great views over Southend. New homes at this vibrant, modern development start from £185,000.
1023 West in Brentwood is the £32million (GDV) development of new and refurbished homes, which includes the transformation of the Georgian Manor House, La Plata. Comprising one- and two-bedroom apartments alongside three- and four-bedroom houses on the site of the former Brentwood Police Station, it’s ideally located just a five-minute walk from the town centre and less than one mile from the train station – all the amenities you could wish for are within walking distance. Prices start at £340,000 for a one-bedroom apartment, and at £665,000 for a three-bedroom house with private garage and garden.
