Help to Buy properties in Hampshire

New homes in Hampshire are clustered in and around its key cities of Winchester, Southampton, Portsmouth, Bournemouth and the towns and villages of the New Forest and South Downs. Other popular towns for new homes are Andover, Petersfield, Basingstoke and Lymington. The county is popular with cross-county commuters because of the ease of getting around. Portsmouth and Southampton also offer plenty of employment and education opportunities.

Hampshire has great transport links via the M3, A3 and M27 with two of England's largest ports, Portsmouth and Southampton. The villages, towns and cities of Hampshire are regularly named among the best places to live in Britain thanks to Hampshire’s education, employment and health statistics.

There are several major universities in the county including the University of Portsmouth and the University of Southampton.

  Monthly Budget
Our monthly budget search provides a monthly cost estimate for the different ownership options available to you. These range from ‘outright purchase’, ‘part buy part rent’ and ‘rent’ options. As with any property purchase you should seek independent financial advice.

For outright purchase the monthly mortgage cost estimate is based on an interest only mortgage at a 5.95% annual interest rate, over 25 years with a 10% deposit.

For ‘part buy part rent’ the monthly cost is based on an interest only mortgage rate of 5.95% per annum over 25 years with annual interest of 2.75% on the unsold share.

For ‘rent’ the monthly cost is based on the rental from the landlord or Build to Rent organisation who owns the property.
