Open House At Wallyford Scheme This Weekend

Posted 21 September 2023 by Keith Osborne

Taylor Wimpey is inviting house-hunters to see its Ravensheugh site on Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 September...

Taylor Wimpey East Scotland will be opening the doors to a number of new homes available for sale right now at its Ravensheugh development in Wallyford, East Lothian at an event taking place on Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 September.

Taking place from 11.00am to 4.00pm each day at the St Clements Way scheme, buyers will be able to step inside some of the new homes that are released for sale now, including the ‘Douglas’ four-bedroom detached (Plot 734), and the ‘Blair’ three-bedroom semi-detached (Plot 691).

Each of these new homes comes complete with flooring throughout and integrated kitchen appliances. Potential purchasers can also choose one of the helpful offers that are available on selected new homes at the development including Enhanced Easymover, 5% deposit paid, help with LBTT, or a contribution towards their mortgage.

An independent mortgage specialist will also be available on-site at the event to provide prospective buyers with free advice on mortgage and the financial process of buying a new home.

Buyers can also pop in to see the two show homes at Ravensheugh, the ‘Hume’ and the ‘Maxwell’, both four-bedroom detached styles.

Kirsty McGill, sales and marketing director for Taylor Wimpey East Scotland, commented: “Our Open House events are a great opportunity for potential purchasers to walk around the inside of the actual new home they could be calling their own – meaning that they can get a real feel for the layout of the house, its position on the development and whether it fits their requirements.

“We’ve found this type of event is really helpful for buyers who can’t visualise what a property will look like from a floor plan, or they can’t interpret what their new home may look like from a visit to our show homes. Of course, our show homes are always on hand to inspire buyers and showcase the lifestyle they could be enjoying at Ravensheugh.

“For buyers considering a new home and becoming part of this growing community in Wallyford, this event will give them a great opportunity to see inside a range of new homes to get a sense of where they feel most at home. Plus, the chance to chat with our on-site independent mortgage specialist, as part of this event, is a great opportunity for buyers who are thinking about a move to a new home.”

Phase 2 at Ravensheugh offers buyers a choice of 149 two-, three- and four-bedroom homes and forms part of the wider St Clements Wells masterplan that has delivered a new primary school, local centre and community woodland along with new foot and cycle connections to Wallyford and the local railway station. A new secondary school – Rosehill High School – has recently opened nearby to the development.
