Developer To Host Mortgage Advice Weekend In Newport
WhatHouse? Award-winning developer Lovell Homes is hosting free mortgage advice events at its two Newport developments, Locke Gardens and Royal Victoria Court.
Locke Gardens is a stylish collection of 285 two-, three-, and four-bedroom homes, on the former Llanwern steelworks in Glan Llyn and Royal Victoria Court is located off Cardiff Road, on the site of the former Whiteheads steelworks, consisting of a stunning range of 264 two-, three- and four-bedroom houses and one- and two-bedroom apartments.
Both events will take place on Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 April from 10.00am to 5.00pm at each development.
During the events, potential homebuyers will be able to find out more about the homes on offer and get independent advice from mortgage experts ABP Mortgages. Attendees will be able to ask questions about what homes are in their budget, what offers and incentives are available to them including the recent change to the Help to Buy Wales scheme and how to prepare their finances ahead of applying for a mortgage.

Suzie Hewitt, regional sales director at Lovell Homes, says: “At Lovell, we know that the process of purchasing a home and applying for a mortgage can be overwhelming, which is why we find these events popular with our prospective purchasers as it gives them the opportunity to speak to an expert to guide them through the buying process and answer any question they may have. Both Locke Gardens and Royal Victoria Court are popular developments with plenty to offer whether you’re just starting out, looking for space to grow or seeking a lifestyle change, we can help you discover the right Lovell home for you, so we would highly encourage anyone who is on the hunt for a home in Newport to get in touch to avoid missing out.”
Royal Victoria Court and Locke Gardens are now open seven days a week, from 10am to 5pm.
