Two Successful Launches In Cambridgeshire

Posted 5 May 2021 by Keith Osborne

Hayfield and Redrow have both just unveiled their latest collections of new homes in Cambridgeshire villages...

Two multi-award-winning housebuilders have announced their success at their latest launches of developments in Cambridgeshire.

The doors have opened at Hayfield Avenue in the historic village of Great Gransden. Only 24 luxury homes are available for private sale and 14 purchasers have already secured their preferred homes off-plan.

A five-bedroom show home by Lifestyle Interiors has been styled to articulate modern country living. Bespoke joinery and natural textures have been combined with a neutral colour palette to illustrate how Hayfield Avenue’s rural village setting can be combined with a contemporary interior.

Kelly Sharman, sales and marketing director for five-star homebuilder Hayfield, said: “The design of this exclusive development has taken inspiration from the Arts and Crafts properties within this sought-after highly picturesque Cambridgeshire village. The combination of the traditional architecture with a luxury, eco-efficient interior is really striking a chord with purchasers. People who will shortly be moving into their new Hayfield Avenue homes include those already living in Great Gransden, and families relocating from over 100 miles away.

“Due to the proximity of Addenbrookes and Papworth Hospitals, this scheme is also proving popular with those working for the NHS. We are delighted to be able to offer our exclusive £5,000 Key Worker Discount to all those who meet the criteria. There are now only 10 homes available to sell and we are really looking forward to welcoming people into the elegant show home, adhering to our Covid-19 Safe Operating Procedure.”

Located off Sand Road, prices for the current release of three-, four- and five-bedroom executive family homes range from £400,000 to £725,000. Great Gransden benefits from a traditional village community and has been a previous winner of the Campaign for the Protection of Rural England’s Best Kept Village competition. It is highly sought-after due to its Ofsted ‘Outstanding’ schooling, local amenities, peaceful yet convenient location, collection of historic buildings and the Gransden & District Agricultural Society Annual Show.

The Hayfield Avenue show home is open daily between 10.00am to 5.00pm. Find out more at [email protected].

‘Amberley’‘Amberley’ house type from Redrow

Commuters and families looking for a slice of country life can now find out more about Redrow South Midlands’ All Saints Gardens, on Haslingfield Road in Barrington, by visiting the nearby Hedera Gardens in Royston, as a number of three and four-bedroom homes are being released as part of the development’s very first phase.

All Saints Gardens, the housebuilder’s fourth ongoing development in Cambridgeshire, is set to bring a selection of 144 three-, four- and five-bedroom homes from the Heritage Collection, which features traditional, 1930s-style exteriors combined with contemporary, high-spec interiors.

Among the homes being released is the detached three-bedroom ‘Amberley’, available from £514,950 and ideal for growing families. Featuring practical yet spacious living spaces, including a generous open-plan kitchen/dining area, as well as three double bedrooms, the home also offers a separate lounge, perfect to relax after a long day.

Suzanne Irons, sales director for Redrow South Midlands, said: “We’re pleased to play a part in the government’s plan to transform the Oxford-Cambridge Arc into one of the UK’s fastest growing economic regions, by bringing much-needed new homes to the area.

“We live in an era where an increasing number of businesses are switching to flexible working, and have seen a huge increase in buyers working in big cities such as London looking for a slice of country life. We’re therefore thrilled to release the first homes at our new All Saints Gardens development, which provides the perfect combination of excellent transport links and space to work from home.

“The development is just a short drive away from Cambridge’s town centre, with regular trains to King’s Cross station in less than an hour, so we expect our homes to be extremely popular with homebuyers looking for a unique combination of traditional charm and a contemporary, high-spec interior without compromising on location. We’d like to invite anyone considering their next move to visit our nearby Hedera Gardens development, in Royston, and find out more about everything All Saints Gardens and Cambridgeshire has to offer.”
