New Lease Of Life For Gatehouses In Salford

Birchfield Court is located on Worsley Road, in Swinton. The site was previously known as Birchfield House, a ‘micro-estate’ built in the second half of the 19th century. It comprised a main house, gardens, two ‘gatehouses’, a road approaching the house with a gated entrance and boundary walls.

Alongside the refurbished properties, Elan is building 18 new homes in a mix of three-, four- and five-bedroom designs, including some set out over three floors.
Prices for the new build homes in Swinton start from £379,995 for the four-bedroom Ashley Max. Selected homes are available with a 5% deposit contribution, flooring package and turfed gardens. Subject to plot, the incentive offers potential savings of more than £20,000. Alternatively, those with an existing property to sell, may be able to use Part Exchange.
