Retirement Development Open Day Event In Banbury
Posted 16 February 2022 by
Keith OsborneHousing association Bromford is hosting an open day event on Saturday 19 February at its award-winning Park Gardens retirement development in Banbury, inviting property seekers to view and fall in love with a new home.
The event will take place between 11.00am and 3.00pm, and is set to encourage homeowners to love and appreciate their places of residence. Bromford believes that every home, new, old, big, or small deserves some love.
Attendees can also learn more about what Park Gardens has to offer and ask members of the Bromford team about the different buying options for the homes. Interested buyers who fall in love with a Bromford home can benefit from £500 towards legal costs if they reserve in February (terms and conditions apply).
The Park Gardens retirement development is located in the historic market town of Banbury and offers a range of self-contained two-bedroom apartments, with the option to either purchase outright or through the government’s Older People’s Shared Ownership (OPSO) scheme.
Shared Ownership gives those who do not currently own a property the chance to secure a newbuild home with Bromford. Homebuyers pay a mortgage on the share they own, and pay rent on the remaining share, meaning only a smaller deposit is required. With OPSO, residents can only buy up to 75% of their home, and once they own 75%, they won’t have to pay rent on the remaining share.
During the event, attendees will be able to view available properties, including the outright sale ‘Easington’ style apartment, priced from £283,000. This two-bedroom, second-floor apartment is ready to move into with neutral modern décor that allows residents to seamlessly add their own personal touches into the mix. The spacious opening hallway is aligned with handy storage cupboards and leads to an open living and dining space with a Juliet balcony, perfect for soaking up the sun. The modern kitchen is fully fitted with integrated appliances, and like the rest of the home is designed with ease of access in mind.
All Park Gardens apartments also offer an assisted moving service to make the move easy and stress free.
Catherine Jarrett, director of sales and marketing at Bromford, said: “We are very excited to be hosting our event and hope to see and get to know lots of people from the local community. We at Bromford are very passionate about ensuring that people live in a home that they love and we hope this event can help further that goal.”
The picturesque market town of Banbury is an excellent place to settle down. Whilst peaceful, there is also plenty to do from the popular twice-weekly farmers markets to narrow boar trips down the Oxford canal. Park Gardens itself is less than a mile from the town centre with its pedestrianised high street offering a wide array of charming shops, pubs and restaurants.
Last November, Park Gardens secured a joint bronze award for Best Retirement Development at the prestigious WhatHouse? Awards. Prices start at £162,750 (based on a 75% share of full market value of £217,000). Find out more from Bromford.
