Retirement property for sale in Oxfordshire

Oxfordshire includes part of the Chilterns, Cotswolds and the Vale of White Horse as well as the city of Oxford, with its ‘dreaming spires’. Its proximity to London and Birmingham make it a popular place to live.

The charming southern Oxfordshire towns of Henley and Wallingford represent the English countryside at its very best with new developments at Didcot, Abingdon and Sutton Courtenay.

The proximity of London and great transport links via rail and motorways mean Oxfordshire is accessible. Banbury is on the main line to Birmingham and Manchester, and Oxford’s new Parkway station to the north will link to Oxford to provide services to both Paddington and Marylebone in under an hour. The M40 serves much of the county.

With great employment and educational opportunities across the county, new homes for sale in Oxfordshire are in high demand.

  Monthly Budget
Our monthly budget search provides a monthly cost estimate for the different ownership options available to you. These range from ‘outright purchase’, ‘shared ownership’ and ‘rent’ options. As with any property purchase you should seek independent financial advice.

For outright purchase the monthly mortgage cost estimate is based on an interest only mortgage at a 5.95% annual interest rate, over 25 years with a 10% deposit.

For ‘shared ownership’ the monthly cost is based on an interest only mortgage rate of 5.95% per annum over 25 years with annual interest of 2.75% on the unsold share.

For ‘rent’ the monthly cost is based on the rental from the landlord or Build to Rent organisation who owns the property.
