Housebuilders’ Co Durham Weekend Events And Ready-To-Move-Into Homes

Barratt Homes and David Wilson Homes – both part of former WhatHouse? Housebuilder of the Year Barratt Developments – are hosting a number of events at developments across County Durham on Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 November, and there are a range of new homes there which are ready to move into right now.

New homes events in Wynyard

There are Open House events on both parts of the Highgrove @ Wynyard Park this weekend.

Barratt Homes has a number of two- and four-bedroom homes for sale here. Prices start at £153,000 for the two-bedroom ‘Kenley’, thanks to the Discount to Market Value initiative, which means the buyer pays much less then the full market price but has the benefits of 100% ownership. Both examples of this home come with flooring upgrade. Ready-to-move-into is the four-bedroom ‘Alderney’ on Plot 9, priced at £319,995 and coming with some £24,000 worth of upgrades and package deals.

David Wilson Homes is offering three- and four-bedroom houses for sale from £274,995 to £369,995 at its Open House event. There are some recent price reductions and limited-time deals on selected plots. Ready-to-move-into, and available with Part Exchange, are two four-bedroom homes, the ‘Hollinwood’ and ‘Meriden’, priced from £319,995 and £334,995 respectively. Both are detached with open-plan kitchen/dining room, separate lounge, utility room and en suite to one of four double bedrooms.

New homes event in Hartlepool

Barratt’s Open House event at Elwick Gardens is an opportunity to find out more about the current three- and four-bedroom homes, which start at £248,995. This has been a successful scheme, with just 16 properties remaining for sale, with some impressive special deals and recent price reductions. There are two examples of the four-double-bedroom ‘Alderney’ ready to move into, priced from £294,995. Plot 140 is available through Part Exchange and has a host of extras built in, such as wardrobes to two bedrooms, a flooring package and upgraded kitchen. Stone-built Plot 167, from £299,995, is a corner plot with single garage and parking for two cars, and comes with upgraded kitchen and appliances.

The four-bedroom/two-bathroom ‘Kirkdale’ at £313,500 has a south-facing garden and is ready to move into, with the option of Part Exchange.

Barratt Homes has homes for sale at The Orchard at West Park, and its Open House event is a chance to know more about the available three- and four-bedroom homes for sale right now, priced from £249,995 to £309,995. Some homes here come with solar panels and there are a number of different deals on some plots. Plot 507 is ready to move into now. It’s a four-bedroom ‘Alderney’ house type at £309,995, one of only two of this house type still for sale here, at its comes with the offer of £15,490 deposit boost and a guaranteed buyer through Part Exchange.

David Wilson Homes hosts a Last Chance To Buy event this weekend, with its part of the development now 75% sold, with 13 homes remaining for sale – an array of two-, three- and four-bedroom house type with prices starting at £174,995. Part Exchange is available on some plots, including the detached, four-bedroom, ready-to-move-into ‘Kirkdale’ on Plot 373, priced from £329,995. It has an upgraded kitchen with integrated appliances and spotlights, worth up to £4,180, and buyers may qualify for an offer one a £10,000 contribution to mortgage payments in the first year.
