Benefits Of Movemaker Scheme For Norfolk Buyers
Barratt and David Wilson Homes is encouraging property seekers to consider the benefits of its Movemaker scheme to help with a move to one of its developments in Norfolk.
The housebuilder is building a selection of high-quality new homes in the county at Cringleford Heights in Cringleford, Woodland Heath in Sprowston, Wayland Fields in Watton, and Kingfisher Meadow in Horsford.
Under the Movemaker scheme, prospective buyers at Barratt and David Wilson Homes developments can cut out the visits to estate agents as the developer liaises with the third party on behalf of the customer.
Alison Page, sales director at Barratt and David Wilson Homes Anglia, says: “As part of our Movemaker scheme, we pay the estate agent fees and reduce customers’ contact with estate agents to ensure our buyers can make a swift transition into a new home, whilst taking care of the sale of the existing property. We are seeing lots of customers with homes to sell in Norfolk, and the scheme has proven beneficial to many of our recent homebuyers, enabling them to achieve an easy move while saving money.”
Barratt and David Wilson Homes’ Movemaker scheme is completed in a number of simple steps:
- Step 1: After a homebuyer reserves a property, a Movemaker application can be completed and the developer will take the new home off the market.
- Step 2: An asking price will be agreed for the customer’s current home after two independent valuations.
- Step 3: The developer works with the homebuyer to instruct an estate agent to handle the sale of their current home.
- Step 4: Barratt and David Wilson Homes covers the estate agent costs.
- Step 5: The customer can move into their brand new home.
