Final Two Homes At Duporth Over-55s Development

Posted 9 January 2023 by Keith Osborne

The Courtyard at Duporth is nearly sold out but there is still an opportunity to snap up the final two homes there...

Acorn Property Group has reported the success of its over-55s development The Courtyard at Duporth, on the Cornish coast, and that there are now just two of the brand new homes there remaining for sale.

The Courtyard at Duporth is situated close to a secluded beach overlooking St Austell Bay. It’s a collection of 38 two- and three-bedroom homes which are centred around a landscaped courtyard and a Grade II listed clock tower, the development also enjoys a southerly aspect and sea views. There is a combination of attractive traditional and contemporary exterior design, but it’s thoroughly up-to-date inside with its specification and EPC B-rated energy efficiency.

One of the final brand new homes for sale here is Plot 10, which is a two-bedroom property set within the Farm House, overlooking the landscaped courtyard area and heritage clock tower. The ground floor features open-plan living with its very own outdoor space, and upstairs, both comfortable double bedrooms share the family bathroom. Outside is some allocated parking. This home is priced at £360,000.

The other is Plot 21, a ground-floor double bedroom apartment benefits from an open-plan kitchen, dining and living area, with integrated appliances, underfloor heating and an en suite to bedroom one. There’s access to a private balcony with sea views over the bay, and this home comes with undercover allocated parking. This home is priced at £440,000.

The Courtyard at Duporth is only half-a-mile from neighbouring Charlestown and a mile-and-a-half from St Austell, which offers many shops, amenities and place to have fun, as well as the railway station for services to places including Penzance, Newquay, Plymouth and further afield in the South West towards London.
