Housebuilder’s Ready-To-Move-Into Homes In The South West

Barratt Developments, the former WhatHouse? Housebuilder of the Year known for its Barratt Homes and David Wilson Homes brands, has a number of brand new properties ready to move into at sites across the South West of England.

New homes in Cornwall

David Wilson Homes @ Treledan is a collection of two-, three- and four-bedroom homes with eight acres of public open space just five minutes from Saltash town centre. The ‘Ingleby’, at £395,000, is a four-bedroom, two-bathroom house with £8,000-worth of upgrades included. It has a southwest-facing garden and two private parking spaces.

The ‘Radleigh’ at Okement Park

New homes in Devon

Okement Park on the edge of Okehampton is bringing two-, three- and four-bedroom homes to the area, just five minutes from the Dartmoor National Park. The ‘Radleigh’ is a four-double-bedroom, two-bathroom detached house with dedicated study, priced at £399,995, which includes some £9,000-worth of upgrades. It has a south-facing garden and EV charging point fitted, and can be purchased through Part Exchange.

Berry Acres is delivering two-, three- and four-bedroom homes to the edge of Paignton, only a ten-minute drive from the beach. The ‘Ellerton’ is a three-bedroom, two-bathroom semi-detached house type with southwest-facing garden and two parking spaces. Priced at £274,996, it comes with some £10,000-worth of upgrades included.

Fairfax Heath, located on the edge of Tiverton and just five minutes from the highly regarded independent Blundell’s School, has a choice of two-, three- and four-bedroom homes for sale. The detached ‘Ingleby’ on Plot 24, priced at £365,000, comes with £14,000-worth of upgrades. Three of its four bedrooms are doubles (en suite to the largest) and it has a single garage and parking for two cars.

New homes in Dorset

Compass Point in Swanage offers two-, three- and four-bedroom houses and apartments and is now 70% sold. The mid-terrace, three-bedroom, two-bathroom ‘Ellerton’ comes with two parking spaces and is priced at £369,000, with upgrades worth over £6,000, and a lighting package included. Buyers can use Barratt’s Rent then Buy scheme, which requires a deposit of only 2.5%.

Quarter Jack Park in Wimborne is now over 90% sold out on its first phase of three- and four-bedroom homes. There are a few which are ready to move into: the three-bedroom ‘Norbury’ at £410,000, the three-bedroom ‘Moresby’  at £415,000 and the four-bedroom ‘Kingsville’ at £420,000 all come with a deposit contribution of £20,000+ and a range of upgrades.

The ‘Chester’ at Merlin Gate

New homes in Gloucestershire

Merlin Gate is a collection of three- and four-bedroom homes in Newent, surrounded by open space and countryside views, just 11 miles from Gloucester city centre. A great success, it is now 90% sold, with recent price reductions on the remaining homes. Ready to move into is the four-bedroom, two-bathroom ‘Chester’ on Plot 54, which was £321,995, now £315,500, and it comes with detached garage and an upgraded kitchen.

Forest Grove offers three- and four-bedroom homes set in the scenic Forest of Dean. Plot 44 here, the ‘Chester’, was priced at £334,500, recently reduced to £327,500. It has two double bedrooms (one with en suite) and two single bedrooms. Outside are a detached garage and private parking. Qualifying key workers will get a £16,370 contribution plus flooring.

New homes in Somerset

Moorland Gate in Bishops Lydeard comprises a great variety of two-, three-, four- and five-bedroom properties close to the Quantock Hills and with east access to Taunton and the M5. The ‘Bradgate’ is a double-fronted, four-double-bedroom detached house with single garage, dedicated study and an en suite to bedroom. Plot 142 has an upgraded kitchen and flooring included, worth £16,425.
