The days between Christmas and the New Year are perfect for starting to plan a move to a new home in 2018, and here we take a look at some launches, events and offers at developments across the UK to help you in your search for the perfect property.


Part Exchange offered on family homes at Leicestershire development

Developer Westleigh is offering buyers the option of Part Exchange for their old home on a collection of family homes at its Melton Fields development in Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire.

Show home and special offer now available at Hamilton site

Annsfield FarmNational housebuilder Taylor Wimpey has now released the four-bedroom show house at its Annsfield Farm development in Hamilton, South Lanarkshire, for sale.

The detached ‘Douglas’ show has been decorated to the latest interiors trends, with accents of pink, a number of sumptuous fabrics and a two-tome kitchen among the highlights.

Work to start soon at Newark development

Bellway has announced that it is soon to start work on a new development in Newark, Nottinghamshire, following planning approval by the district council.

The new development will comprise 64 new homes, with a choice of two-, three- and five-bedroom houses to be available. It is part of a much larger development scheme that is bringing over 3,000 new homes to the area.

Sales director for Bellway’s East Midlands division, Ben Smith, says: “We’re thrilled to have the opportunity to help create a landmark new community in Newark and we’re looking forward to getting started on site in the New Year. We’ve included lots of different styles and sizes of homes here, which will help first-time buyers move onto the ladder, downsizers and people looking for a large executive family home as well.
