New Shared Ownership homes lined up for Wembley

Network Homes, winners of multiple prizes at the WhatHouse? Awards 2016, is soon launching a new selection of Shared Ownership properties at Wembley Park, one of north London’s largest regeneration areas.

The new development, called Scala, will comprise 13 one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments right at the heart of the Wembley Park masterplan, giving them a strong position within the project. Each will have a balcony and be close to Elvin Square Gardens, a public piazza and green space. Prices start from £156,000 for a 40% share of a one-bedroom apartment (based on an open market value of £390,000) and priority will initially be given to people who live or work in the London Borough of Brent.

Vicky Savage, executive director of development at Network Homes, says: “The transformation of Wembley is not only one of London’s most exciting large-scale regeneration projects but indeed the whole of the UK’s, with a meticulously designed masterplan that will help bring new vitality to the area. Scala will allow people to buy into this transformation at a genuine affordable price, reinforcing our ethos of delivering good homes for everyone.”

The area is now well-known for its shopping, restaurants and open spaces, and it benefits from regular transport links into central London, with Baker Street just 12 minutes away by Tube. And Marylebone just 10 minutes from Wembley Stadium station nearby.

Just a few homes left at development on the outskirts of Newport, Wales

Edenstone Homes has just four homes remaining at its Garden View development in Pontywaun, Newport, with the Help to Buy Wales scheme available on two of them.

With sales on the development nearly complete, sales director Andrea Nippe, says: “Garden View is an exclusive development of 20 three- and four-bedroom detached homes in an elevated position with outstanding panoramic views over surrounding woodlands and valleys. Buyers have fallen in love with the location, so close to the village, and the quality of the homes we are building here, but with only four homes left we are nearing the completion of the development and the option to buy here is getting increasingly limited.

Pontywaun, just half an hour from the centre of Newport, has amenities, and primary and secondary schools  less than a mile away from the site, making it a great choice for families. Also nearby are Cwmcarn Forest and a variety of walking and cycle trails.

“I would urge homebuyers to visit us without delay, to view our show home and take in the outstanding scenery,” adds Nippe. The site is open Thursday to Monday from 10.30am to 5.00pm
