More new homes come to Motherwell development – Taylor Wimpey has launched its latest range of homes at Ravenscraig, the development of a former steel works site in Motherwell. Called Raven’s Cliff Gardens, this new phase comprises two-, three- and four-bedroom homes currently ranging from £140,000 to £236,000. Homeowning buyers can use Easymover, the housebuilder’s scheme to help sell the existing property, and there’s Help to Buy (Scotland) on plots under £200,000. Figures from the Home Builders Federation suggest that homeowners who move from old to new could see their energy bills fall from £1,072 to £443 – a saving of £629 or less than half of their previous bills.
