There are launches and special events aplenty across Britain’s new homes market right now, and buyers keen to purchase now in order to move in for Christmas might also find some special offers on some developments to help them. 



Boutique development opens in north London – ICON7 has been launched by Origin Housing, bringing 17 new homes to an address on Camden Road. Buyers have a choice of one- and two-bedroom apartments, with two of them available through Shared Ownership and 15 on the open market, some under the London Help to Buy scheme. Specification for all of these open-plan homes is high quality and all residents are within easy reach of Caledonian Road Tube station. Weekend launch of new homes in Willesden Green – Notting Hill Genesis is launching its latest development this Saturday 20 October, bringing six three-bedroom homes to northwest London at BEAT NW10. Price from £800,000, these properties are likely to attract young professional family buyers, located close to some good schools and the shops and amenities of Willesden High Street. Final phase launched at London’s tallest residential tower – Developer Chalegrove Properties has now released for sale the final phase of apartments at its Landmark Pinnacle development in Canary Wharf. It’s seen strong sales success already, with over two-thirds of all available units in the 75-storey building having been sold to date. Currently, homes at the development start at £425,000. Developer launches Help to Buy at Sutton scheme – CNM Estates will now be offering London Help to Buy at its Sutton Point development on the southern outskirts of the capital, where prices start at £280,000. The development comprises 332 residential apartments, retail and office space a 99-bed hotel and 59 serviced apartments. The homes to purchase range from studio to three-bedroom penthouse in the main central tower of the development. Warehouse conversion in Whitechapel launches – JAMM Living has just unveiled Calico Lofts, where it has converted a Victorian clothing warehouse into four two-bedroom loft-style apartments and one 850 sq ft penthouse, which comes with a private 193 sq ft outdoor terrace. These homes are located just 150 meters from a new Crossrail station in Whitechapel, E1, providing easy access across central London. Imminent launch of Hackney development - In collaboration with London Borough of Hackney, Londonewcastle is soon to launch The Otto, bringing 89 new homes overlooking Hackney Downs as part of a mixed-use redevelopment. It offers a mix of one-, two-, and three-bedroom design-led apartments, together with four penthouses. All duplex units on the ground floor feature a raised-level private garden. Residents benefit from a concierge, multi-use ‘wellness’ rooms, a fourth-floor communal terrace, cycle racks and some storage facilities. New show home at landmark Aldgate development opens soon – Berkeley Homes will be launching a new show home on the final phase of its award-winning Goodman’s Fields development in Aldgate. The building is called Neroli House and is ideally located to make the most of the shops, amenities, leisure facilities and transport links of this central London location. Prices at Goodman’s Fields start at £1.4445m for a two-bedroom apartment. Launch of new homes in Bow Creek – House-hunters in east London will soon have a further choice of homes with the launch of Three Waters, a new development in Bow Creek, E3. This joint venture between Mount Anvil and Peabody is bringing over 300 new homes (109 of which will be affordable) to a waterside location close to Bromley-by-Bow Tube station. The City Collection is the first phase comprising over 150 private homes priced from £365,000 for a studio apartment. New show home coming to Royal Leamington Spa – House-hunters in Warwickshire now have a new show home to visit. Spitfire Bespoke Homes has unveiled a ‘Clarence Villa’ five-bedroom detached show house with double garage at its Regents Green development on an attractive tree-lined avenue to the North of Royal Leamington Spa. Regents Green offers a variety of detached houses, terraced homes, townhouses and apartments. New homes on Edinburgh outskirts launched – Miller Homes has released the first homes at Highbrae at Lang Loan, its development under a mile from the City Bypass and close to the Pentland Hills to the south of Edinburgh. Buyers have a choice of six types of four- and five-bedroom homes. Potential buyers should find out more at the nearby South Gilmerton Brae development. Homes in Perth ready for Christmas – Urban Union has a number of houses and apartments at its Muirton Living development in Perth which will be ready for buyers to move into for Christmas. Examples are the ‘Anderson’, a one-bedroom apartment starting at £105,000, and the ‘Baltacha’, a three-bedroom house priced from £182,000. Health worker deal at Liverpool development – Redrow is offering a free package of upgrades worth £1,000 to buyers who work in the NHS at it Summerhill Park development in Broadgreen. Mortgage holiday offered at Plymouth development – Barratt Homes is offering buyers a six-month ‘holiday’ from mortgage payments at its Redwood Heights development in Plymouth, reserved in October and November for a December move-in date. Brand new show home in St Mellons – Those looking for a new home in South Wales can find a new show home open at Springfield Gardens, a David Wilson Homes development in St Mellons, just a few miles from Cardiff city centre. New development launched in Buntingford – Awards-winning housebuilder Weston Homes is unveiling Lovats Chase, comprising 56 homes located minutes from Buntingford, Hertfordshire. More new homes on the Isle of Wight – Friday 19 October sees the VIP launch of a brand new Barratt Homes development in the Shide area of Newport, in the heart of the Isle of Wight. Unique home type at Berkshire development – A brand new four-bedroom detached house called ‘The Hollyhock’ – the only one of its type – is now on the market at Wexham Green, a collection of homes in Berkshire being delivered by a joint venture between Slough Borough Council and Morgan Sindall Investments. It opens as a view home on Saturday 20 October. This two-storey home with integrated garage will cost £700,000, though prices on the development currently start at £495,000 and £555,000 respectively for three- and four-bedroom houses. Hook has more new homes to choose from – House-hunters in Hampshire can now visit Oakwood Grange in Hook, Hampshire, where Barratt Homes has unveiled the first 50 open market three-, four- and five-bedroom properties. Initial choices are four-bedroom plots ranging from £479,995 to £599,995, all available using Help to Buy. The three- and five-bedroom homes will be released later in the year. New show home to see in Berkshire – Berkeley Homes (Oxford and Chiltern) is inviting house-hunters to a new show home at Woodhurst Park, its development of one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments and three-, four- and five-bedroom houses near Bracknell, Berkshire.
