Help to Buy for over-60s on Port Glasgow development – Muir Homes is inviting interest from senior homebuyers at its Castlebank House development overlooking the River Clyde near Port Glasgow. With people over 60 having a priority on the Help to Buy Scotland scheme when downsizing from a home they own, they have a choice of luxurious one and two-bedroom apartments to consider, including two penthouses with lift access. Launch of new homes in Linwood – Taylor Wimpey has just launched Brooklands, a brand new collection of homes under construction in Linwood on the former Johnstone Hospital site. It will be bringing 110 new homes to the area, a range of three- and four-bedroom houses in a variety of styles and sizes. Current prices range from £174,000 for the ‘Baxter’, a three-bedroom semi-detached property, to £297,000 for the four-bedroom, detached ‘Monro’. New show home opens in Shavington – Cheshire house-hunters now have a new show home to take a look at, recently opened by Barratt Homes at its Needham’s Grange in Shavington. The four-bedroom ‘Alderney’ style home has been fully fitted and decorated by design consultancy Claude Hooper. Help to Buy, Part Exchange and Barratt’s own Movemaker scheme are available on selected properties, with four-bedroom homes currently available from £245,995. Two new show homes on Merseyside – Barratt has unveiled two new show homes at its Imagine Place development in Speke, Merseyside. This collection of three- and four-bedroom houses now has two fully interior designed properties to tour, the three-bedroom ‘Maidstone’ and the four-bedroom ‘Alderney’. Help to Buy, Part Exchange and Movemaker incentives are available on homes here,  with prices currently starting from £172,995. SOUTH WEST

Park opens at Bath regeneration development – Crest Nicholson has opened a new public park at its award-winning Bath Riverside development. Elizabeth Park is a green space and destination hub between the Sovereign Point and Royal View apartments there. Buyers can currently choose from a range of two-bedroom apartments with a selection of apartments and penthouses at Sovereign Point available from £500,000 to £1.1million. New show home in Gloucestershire – Bellway has opened the doors to a brand new show home at Tyndale Reach, a development in Wickwar, Gloucestershire. Selling out fast at Cardiff development – With keen buyer interest, Bellway has 25 of the 156 units at it Highfields development in Cardiff still for sale. New phase released in Aylesbury – Taylor Wimpey has released a new phase of homes at its New Berry Vale development in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire. There’s now another 210 homes for buyers to consider on the new phase, called Tulip Fields, with prices from £272,000 and with Part Exchange, Easymover and Help to Buy schemes on offer. New release of properties at Cranleigh development – Surrey house-hunters have a new selection of two-bedroom properties at the Amlets Place development in Cranleigh. CALA Homes. New show homes open in Faversham this weekend – Barratt Homes and David Wilson Homes are opening show homes at Perry Court in Faversham, Kent on Saturday 10 August. Barratt will unveil a three-bedroom and four-bedroom show houses, David Wilson four- and five-bedroom properties, all fully decorated and professionally interior designed. Between them, the housebuilders are selling a wide range of two-, three-, four- and five-bedroom homes, all of which currently are eligible with Help to Buy. Help to Buy event after launch of new homes in Southall – Catalyst Homes has just released the latest phase of homes at Southall Village in west London and is hosting a London Help to Buy event there this weekend, Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 August, from 10.00am to 5.00pm. With the government-backed scheme, a £435,000 two-bedroom property would need a 5% deposit a £21,750 and get an interest-free equity loan of £174,000, leaving a mortgage requirement of £239,250. Prices start from £435,000 for a two-bedroom parkside house and from £540,000 for a three-bedroom parkside house. One- and two-bedroom apartments start from £310,000 and £385,000 respectively.
