Keith OsbornePriors Hall Park is a major development on the eastern fringes of Corby and making the most of the new amenities, schools and green spaces taking shape there will be residents at a brand new scheme by Lodge Park Homes, called Woodland Chase.
When completed, Woodland Chase will have brought 87 new homes to Priors Hall Park with a mix of two-, three- and four-bedroom house types. There’s a range of kitchens with laminate worktops and some fitted appliances. Homes have gas fired central heating and LED downlights to kitchen, bathrooms, and en suites. All principal bedrooms come with an en suite shower room. There are numerous tech fittings, with TV points, BT points and data sockets to the lounge and bedroom one, USB charging port to lounge, bedroom one and kitchen and selected plots come with electric car charging points and photovoltaic panels.
The ‘Orchid’ is an attractive two-bedroom house type which could be an ideal choice for those taking a first step on the property ladder. Of the hallway to one side is the downstairs cloakroom and to the other, the fitted kitchen/dining room. At the rear is the living room with a useful large storage cupboard and French doors to the garden. Both bedrooms are comfortable doubles, with private shower room to bedroom one and a family bathroom for others to use.
The ‘Bluebell’ is one of the three-bedroom home styles at Woodland Chase and it is set out over three floors, meaning some generous and flexible living space. Off the welcoming hallway on one side is a living room with French doors to the garden, and on the other side a kitchen/dining room. There’s also a cloakroom and understairs storage. Bedrooms two and three are on the first floor, both are very spacious and they share the family bathroom. Priors Hall Park is one of the East Midlands region’s most significant new developments. It is creating a new community of over 5,000 new homes, set in 907 acres of parkland. In addition to the many homes, there will be a host of community facilities including schools and shops – of which many are already well established and used by many residents – and outdoor spaces, which includes a County Wildlife Site spanning over 2km sitting at the centre of the Park.
It’s a very well connected part of the country. By car, Peterborough is about 34 min away and Milton Keynes just over an hour. The A1 and A14 are both around 20 minutes away, putting numerous towns and cities with easy reach. Birmingham, East Midlands and Stansted Airports are all little more than one hour from the front door at Priors Hall Park too. By public transport, Leicester, Luton Airport and London are about 39 minutes, 50 minutes and 70 minutes away respectively.
