Three-Storey House Types From North Yorkshire Housebuilder
With an endless array of house types for sale at new homes developments across the region, North Yorkshire property-seekers have lots of choice but for some, the appeal of three-storey living has narrowed their search – and housebuilder Keepmoat has a few examples to consider at its developments in the county.
Oriens Field is just south of Scarborough in Eastfield and is only a 10-minute drive from the beach. Keepmoat is building two-, three- and four-bedroom homes here, with appeal for first-time buyers, families and other house-hunters. The A64 is nearby, as is Seamer station.
The ’Bamburgh’ is a semi-detached house with a starting price of £231,995 – and for a great first-hand look at it, one of the show houses here is of this house type. On the ground floor, there’s a WC and some storage off the hallway, a kitchen/dining room at the front and a lounge at the rear, with French doors to the garden; on the first floor are two bedrooms and a bathroom; and the top floor is dedicated to bedrooms one, its en suite and a large built-in storage cupboard.
There’s also a show house of the ‘Hardwick’ from £261,995. This property comes in detached and semi-detached plots. On the ground floor are a bay-windowed lounge, a cloakroom, storage under the stairs and a kitchen/diner with French doors to the garden; on the first floor are the en suite master bedroom, another double bedroom and the family bathroom; on the second floor are two more bedrooms and a shower room.
House-hunters here can ask about the Easymove, Deposit Unlock and First Homes schemes, and there are contribution and upgrade deals on selected plots. Find out more about Oriens Field.
The ‘Banburgh’ house type
Meadowood Park is in a peaceful location in the east of Middlesbrough, just three miles from the town centre and a 20-minute drive from Saltburn-by-the-Sea. There are some great things close to home, including well-rated schools, convenience stores and large supermarket, takeaways, leisure centre and retail park.
The ‘Banburgh’ is the only three-storey house type here right now, in the form of the show home, but there will be other examples in future releases. If the show home is appealing, you’re invited to ask the sales team about the Sale and Leaseback scheme, where you buy the show house and lease it back to the housebuilder until they no longer need it – then you can move in. Terms and conditions apply.

Millfields Park is in the village of Scalby, at the foot of the North Yorkshire Moors and just a couple of miles from the heart of Scarborough, putting countryside and coastal walks on the doorstep. The development is delivering a range of two-, three- and four-bedroom homes set within pen spaces and walkways including a sports arena and children’s park. Amenities nearby include convenience stores, tea room, pubs and restaurants, golf course and waterpark.
The ’Cambridge’ on plot 8, from £365,995, is a double-fronted detached house. On the ground floor are the lounge, the kitchen/dining room, understair storage and cloakroom; on the first floor are two double bedrooms (one with en suite) and the family bathroom; and on the top floor are two more double bedrooms with a shared shower room and some substantial built in storage.
