Posted 5 August 2021 by Keith Osborne

One- and two-bedroom apartments can be purchased outright or through Shared Ownership at Park Gardens...

Retirees looking for a new place to call home can enjoy life as part of an active community at Bromford’s Park Gardens retirement living development in the sought-after market town of Banbury.

Park Gardens, located on Bath Road, is a collection of 78 self-contained one- and two-bedroom apartments with properties ready to move into now, available through both open market sale and Shared Ownership.

Retired property seekers can become part of a thriving and friendly community and enjoy a range of communal facilities, including a communal lounge, activity studio, gym, café bistro – which holds regular coffee mornings and afternoon teas – hair and beauty salon, allotments and an active events programme.

Following the lifting of government restrictions, the village manager often arranges social events for residents to get together and socialise, and recently hosted a BBQ in the gardens and a Pimms and Strings event. Group activities and clubs, such as a gardening club, are also now able to resume.

Park GardensHomeowners can also benefit from gated access to the People’s Park and easy access to nearby amenities, providing them with all the perks of the town centre whilst enjoying peaceful, countryside living.

One of the two-bedroom apartments now available is the ‘Easington’ at Plot 23, priced at £278,000. This thoughtfully designed first-floor apartment offers plenty of space and features a large hallway with multiple storage cupboards. An open-plan living/dining room boasts a Juliet balcony, creating the perfect space for relaxing in the afternoon sun. The apartment is finished off with a contemporary wetroom, a separate fully-fitted kitchen with integrated appliances, and a main bedroom with fitted wardrobes, providing residents with an extra sense of luxury.

Claire Richardson at Bromford said: “Park Gardens is the perfect place for retired downsizers, couples and individuals to call home, offering independence, privacy and the security of a new home. The development has been carefully designed to promote positivity and wellbeing and features the community at its heart, providing residents with so much more than just bricks and mortar.

“Whatever stage of retirement you’re at, we’re here to make sure your home buying process is as easy and stress-free as possible. We’d encourage anyone who is interested to book an appointment to visit Park Gardens, where you will be provided with a guided, personal tour of the facilities and apartments available with our sales advisor Ra, who will be on hand to answer any questions you may have.”

Park GardensProperties at Park Gardens are available to purchase through Bromford’s Assisted Move service, taking out the hassle of buying a new home and helping homeowners sell their existing property.

Bromford also work with The Senior Move Partnership to offer homebuyers 10 hours of their service for free. They are a specialist relocation and downsizing service for older people, offering years of experience, practical advice and guidance to help homeowners move into their brand new home.

Michelle Park, director at The Senior Move Partnership, said: “Our aim is to make your move to Park Gardens as easy and stress free as possible. We will ensure your new apartment feels like ‘home’ straightaway – from helping you decide what furniture to take, to unpacking, to making the bed and ensuring the kettle is to hand – we are here to help throughout the whole moving process.”

Currently available at Park Gardens are eight open market sale homes, priced from £204,000. Four Shared Ownership homes are currently on offer, priced from £171,000 for a 75% share with no rent to pay (terms and conditions apply).

Park Gardens is open by appointment only, 10.00am to 5.00pm, Monday to Saturday. Find out more from Bromford.
