Francis Jackson Homes is busy at its Park View development in a central location in Priors Hall Park, which is a follow-up to its successful Willowhurst project at the site. Daventry
Daventry is on the western side of the county, close to the border with Warwickshire and just off the M1, making it well connected to many major towns and cities. Schooling is widely rated as ‘Good’ by Ofsted across a number of primary and secondary schools.
Talbot Homes’ Foxgrove in Byfield, just south of Daventry, is an exclusive development of just seven luxury detached homes. Six of them are now sold or reserved but there’s still a final chance to purchase, with Plot 1, ‘The Dorchester’, on sale for £610,000. Located at the end of the cul de sac and coming with a double carport, both the spacious dual-aspect kitchen/dining room and the separate lounge have French doors to the garden, and there’s also a useful utility room and downstairs cloakroom. On the first floor are the family bathroom, a study and three double bedrooms, with an en suite and walk-in wardrobe to bedroom one. The top floor has two more double bedrooms and another bathroom.
Ben at home at Micklewell Park
Case study: Ben at Micklewell Park, Daventry
Ben recently moved into his brand new apartment at Orbit Homes’ flagship development, Micklewell Park, in Daventry, which he purchased his new home with the Shared Ownership scheme.
The 24-year-old had been house sharing with friends before he felt it was time to get a place of his own. He was saving little and often into a Lifetime ISA and his search for a new home began after he had saved enough money for a deposit.
He commented: “My mortgage advisor was fantastic and the team at Orbit Homes were super responsive to any questions I had. The sales team were always friendly and professional.”
Ben found everything he was looking for at Micklewell Park. The location of the development, on the outskirts of Daventry, is perfect for him and his apartment has excellent countryside views from the balcony.
Commenting on what he loves most about his new Orbit Home, Ben said: “I’m surrounded by the countryside and I’m able to go for scenic walks, without having to travel far. I’m also close enough to shops and everything I need, but far enough to enjoy the outdoors.”
Micklewell Park is an exciting collection of 450 homes, featuring one- and two-bedroom apartments and two-, three-, four- and five-bedroom houses, which include a mixture of rented, Shared Ownership and market sale properties. The first – comprising 108 homes – is scheduled to complete in March 2023. Find out more at www.orbithomes.org.uk.
