While it may be an expensive choice, the breadth of benefits of living in this cathedral city explain the demand for homes here.

Off London Road, just a 10-minute walk to St Albans City station, Crest Nicholson is constructing 74 studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments at Verla, a development of three low-rise blocks in a pleasing modern design, with a communal rooftop terrace.
