Located in the centre of a triangle of Milton Keynes, Luton and Aylesbury, Leighton Buzzard attracts attention for its excellent amenities and great transport links from its station (around half-an-hour to London Euston on a fast train) and major road like the A5 (also known as Watling Street) and M1, the latter under 20 minutes away. There are a couple of ‘Outstanding’ primary schools and numerous schools across age groups rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted.
To the east of town, Clipstone Park is a growing community which has appealed to all sorts of buyers thanks to the range of properties being delivered there, a high proportion of green open green, the proximity of ‘Good’ rated Vandyke Upper School and the 10-minute drive to the M1. Langford Meadows
Best new homes for sale in Biggleswade
With a population of around 22,000, Biggleswade is close to the A1 and about 10 miles east of Bedford. It’s popular with commuters thanks to its regular Thameslink railway services on a route from Peterborough to Horsham via central London (45 minutes) and Gatwick Airport. The town is well served by shops, supermarkets and place to east and drink, and there are several schools rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted.
Under three miles south of the town centre in Langford, Crest Nicholson has Lewin Park where three-, four- and five-bedroom homes are priced from £380,000, with a selection of designs set over two or three storeys. Best new homes for sales in Ampthill
Ampthill celebrated the 800th anniversary of it market charter in 2019 and it has a rich history of regal connections. It offers a few essentials of its own but is only two miles north of Flitwick and eight miles south of Bedford for a much wider range of shops and services (and their well-served railways stations). Center Parcs and the Millbrook Golf Club are only a short drive from home here and Ampthill’s lower and middle schools are rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted.
McCarthy Stone is over 90% sold out at the retirement development Clemens Place, which comprises one- and two-bedroom apartments to buy, rent or part buy-part rent where residents can enjoy beautiful landscaped gardens and a communal lounge. Located just outside Dunstable and between Luton and Leighton Buzzard, Houghton Regis in only moments from the M1 and the A5. It’s also on the fringes of the scenic countryside of the Chiltern Hills AONB.
