Housebuilder’s Part Exchange Opportunities At Northamptonshire Sites

Posted 9 May 2022 by Keith Osborne

Part Exchange is offered on a host of new homes in Northamptonshire by award-winning Barratt Developments...

Barratt Developments, the former WhatHouse? Housebuilder of the Year that trades under the David Wilson Homes and Barratt Homes brands, is offering people with a home to sell its Part Exchange scheme which could save a lot of hassle and thousands of pounds.

Part Exchange removes the uncertainties of the property chain, with independent estate agents valuing the home and the housebuilder offering a price. If accepted, this means a cash buyer and no estate agency fees, and you can move in when the new property is ready. Terms and conditions apply but the housebuilder’s sales teams can provide full details.

Bertone Gardens is in Barton Seagrove and offers a great variety of home types that would suit many buyers, including those looking for a first home. One example of that is a Barratt two-bedroom house type called the ‘Epping Wide’, which as the name suggests is a large home with two double bedrooms and a dedicated study and starts at £324,995.

The ‘Radcliffe’The ‘Radcliffe’

But homeowners looking to move up the property ladder can ask about Part Exchange on larger properties, such as the ‘Radcliffe’, priced from £412,995. Barratt has a completed but unfurnished view home of this property type to offer a first-hand look at its kitchen/dining room, utility room, lounge, downstairs study, four double bedrooms (one en suite) and family bathroom.

David Wilson Homes has three show homes at Bertone Gardens, including the detached ‘Buckingham Special’, which is a house type on sale from £624,995. It’s a very impressive three-storey, property that has a kitchen/dining/family room, utility room, separate dining room, lounge and study, five double bedrooms, three bathrooms and a double garage.

Overstone Gate is in Brixworth and Barratt Homes is offering two-, three- and four-bedroom homes here, starting from £266,400. The ‘Ennerdale’ here could make a perfect place to raise a growing family and it is priced at £329,995. This detached, corner plot house has kitchen/dining room leading to the garden, a separate living room, a cloakroom and off-hallway storage, two double bedrooms (one en suite), a single bedroom/nursery and a family bathroom, and comes with a garage and private parking for two cars.

At The Nurseries in Thrapston, David Wilson Homes has a number of four-bedroom house types for sale from £383,995 to £450,995. At £397,995 is the ‘Hertford’, which is set over three floors and overlooks public green space and has a private south-facing garden which is accessed through a feature glazed bay in the kitchen/dining room. The separate dual-aspect living room has two bay windows and the ground floor is completed by a utility room, cloakroom, and storage under the stairs. The family bathroom and two double bedrooms are on the first floor (with bedroom one having the bonus of en suite and dressing area, and the two other bedrooms share a shower room on the top floor.

The ‘Avondale’The ‘Avondale’

Duston Gardens is on the outskirts of Northampton and only one of its 68 new homes remains for sale. This final opportunity is called the ‘Avondale’ and is on sale for £505,995. This detached home used to be a show home and comes with a host of upgrades such as kitchen appliances and granite worktops, over £10,000 worth of flooring, and wardrobes.
