Housebuilder’s Deposit Boost At West Midlands Developments

House-hunters can save thousands of pounds in up-front payments on selected plots across the region...

Barratt Developments, WhatHouse? Housebuilder of the Year 2019, is offering a substantial Deposit Boost bonus on homes at a number of its sites across the West Midlands region.

Under its Barratt Homes and David Wilson Homes brands, it has an array of active developments which provide an impressive range of home types and the Deposit Boost offer means house-hunters need considerably less as their up-front payment to secure the one the wish for (subject to terms and conditions).

Dunstall Park is in Tamworth and will provide a selection of two-, three-, four- and five-bedroom homes when completed. It is located within walking distance to the well-known Ventura Park, meaning great shops, cafés and restaurants are on the doorstep, and it’s only two miles to the town centre and station. Families will be attracted by Ofsted ‘Outstanding’ rated schools nearby. There’s currently a £10,000 Deposit Boost offer on Plot 477, a ‘Hale’ house type priced from £404,995. It’s a detached four-bedroom house with integral single garage. The hub of the home is the open-plan kitchen/dining/family room, with French doors leading out to the garden. At the front of the home is a separate living room. You will find four double bedrooms on the first floor, with the main bedroom featuring an en suite, plus a family bathroom. This home comes with two private parking spaces.

Aston Grange is in Upper Lighthorne, Warwickshire, and the current collection of two-, three- and four-bedroom homes for sale start at £259,995. It’s close to Gaydon and just a mile away from the M40, and will offer a brand new village centre, including new shops, a pub, a school and a community centre. Deposit Boost worth £15,000 is offered on Plot 11, the ‘Alderney’, a four-bedroom detached house. It has an open-plan kitchen/breakfast area and a spacious lounge with French doors. A separate dining room is perfect for entertaining. Upstairs, three of the bedrooms are doubles (bedroom one has an en suite) and there’s a modern family bathroom. It also has a single garage. The price for this home is from £422,995.

Berrington PlaceBerrington Place

The Deposit Boost offer is not limited to houses and can be found at Berrington Place, an apartment scheme in Highgate, Birmingham. Prices at this site start at £94,250 (for a 50% share courtesy of the Home Reach ‘part buy-part rent’ scheme, which is available on selected plots) to £272,500. The city centre location is within walking distance of a host of shops, amenities and things to do. Secure parking is included on select plots. Plot 464 is a third-floor two-bedroom apartment which is priced at £272,500 and comes with a £10,000 Deposit Boost offer. It features a bright and airy open-plan kitchen with an over-sized window. It also offers both a living and dining space. The two double bedrooms include wardrobe storage, with the master bedroom including an en suite. There is also a further bathroom. It comes with a single parking space.

Fradley Manor is close to Lichfield and right now has three- and four-bedroom homes for sale priced between £312,995 to £424,995. The village of Fradley is renowned for its canalside community spirit and easy access to the A38. Close by are a range of 'Good' Ofsted-rated schools are nearby including St Stephen's Primary School. The site is closed from 23 October to 1 November for to nearby roadworks. Plot 36 is a four-bedroom house called the ‘Radleigh’, priced at £424,995 and currently available with a £10,000 Deposit Boost. It’s a detached family home offering a fitted kitchen with both a dining and family area with a set of French doors for a light and airy feel and easy access to the garden. Hawk Rise is in Ledbury, Herefordshire and there’s a range of two-, three- and four-bedroom houses for sale there currently, with prices between £209,995 and £316,995, with Help to Buy available on some plots. It has tranquil countryside to the west and the bustling city centre of Hereford to the east, and easy access to the M50 motorway close by. Barratt Homes is offering a £10,000 Deposit Boost right now on Plot 247. This is the three-bedroom, three-storey ‘Kingsville’, priced from £315,995. The ground floor features an open-plan kitchen, dining and family area with French doors onto the garden, as well as a cloakroom and a study which ciuld also function as a single fourth bedroom. Upstairs on the first floor you will find the main bedroom with an en suite, and a lounge. There’s a further two bedrooms and family bathroom on the second floor. This home comes with three parking spaces.
