Part Exchange Event This Weekend At Rugby Development
WhatHouse? Award-winning William Davis Homes is hosting in a Part Exchange event taking place at its Houlton development in Rugby on Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 April.
As part of the event, visitors can enter a prize draw to win a one-month family membership at the new David Lloyd leisure club due to open at Houlton this summer.
On both day of the event, homebuyers can speak with the five-star housebuilder’s Part Exchange expert and experienced sales advisors to discuss your options and to view the range of ‘chain-free’ homes for sale at the popular development.
William Davis Homes is catering for many different budgets and buyer wish lists at Houlton, building a range of two- to five-bedroom homes that will suit first-time buyers, families and downsizers alike.
There are two show homes to explore here: ‘The Kenilworth’ is a four-bedroom end-of-terrace house set over three floors, with a detached single garage and private driveway. There’s a spacious bay-windowed lounge at the front, and a dual-aspect open-plan kitchen/dining area at the rear, with utility room and French doors to the garden. Upstairs, on the first floor, you'll find three good-sized bedrooms with fitted wardrobes which share a modern family bathroom with bathtub and separate walk-in shower. On the top floor is the principal bedroom, which benefits from en suite shower room and walk-in wardrobe. Prices for this house type start at £535,000.
‘The Harborough’ is the five-bedroom show house. This is another three-storey home but is detached and has a double-fronted design. The hub of the home is the kitchen/dining room at the rear, which has a useful utility room to help de-clutter the main room, and French doors lead to the garden. At the front of the home are two more reception rooms that can play the roles of lounge and dining room. There are extensive fitted wardrobes to all three double bedrooms on the first floor, and the bonus of an en suite to bedroom one. The family bathroom completes the layout. On the second floor are two more generously sized bedrooms which share a shower room. Coming with detached double garage and sizeable driveway, this house type starts at £675,000.
The Turner family at Houlton
Turner family loving their new Houlton home
Paul and Chloe Turner, along with their daughters Emily (6) and Macie (3), moved into their spacious five-bedroom house, ‘The Farnborough’ at Houlton in December, and have praised William Davis for pulling out all the stops to ensure they could move in before Christmas.
Having previously lived in Loughborough, where William Davis’ Head Office is based, the couple were familiar with the company’s reputation for high standards and attention to detail. “We looked at a few other developers, but none compared with the personal touch of William Davis,” said Chloe. “We felt we were buying a home and not a product. The sales and construction teams were really helpful.
“The sales team assisted us through the legal process and made sure we could move in before Christmas. We even had the site manager’s mobile number in case we needed to contact him during the Christmas holiday.”
The couple, who work in the product safety sector, are impressed by the range of quality features in their new home. They include energy-efficient Smeg appliances in the well-equipped kitchen, powerful showers, plenty of storage space and a turfed garden.
‘The Farnborough’ is also large enough when Chloe’s family visit. “There are two bathrooms and an en suite, so they can have their own bathroom when they visit, which is really good,” said Chloe. In addition, the dining room is now a home office for Paul.”
Find out more about Houlton
Houlton has an excellent selection of Ofsted-rated 'Outstanding' schools within easy reach and there are brand new primary and secondary schools on this major development taking shape just three miles east of the centre of Rugby, in addition to other new shops and amenities. The M1 and M45, as well as the town’s railway station, make the area ideal for people who need to travel further afield too.
William Davis Homes operations director, David Dodge, said: “The cost of living and changeable interest rates have left many buyers confused. At this event we can help people make their next move, with Part Exchange letting you trade in your current house to part pay for your new home.”
House-hunters can visit the show homes and sales team from 11.00am to 5.00pm, from Thursday to Monday. Prices currently start at £365,000. Find out more about Houlton from William Davis Homes.
