Posted 7 August 2023 byÂ
Keith OsborneWain Homes has put the first homes for sale at its latest development, The Green, which is taking shape in Solihull.
When completed, The Green will comprise a collection of two-bedroom apartments and two-, three- and four-bedroom houses. They have high-quality fitted kitchens with laminate worktops and a range of integrated appliance, bathrooms and en suites with big brands such as Roca, Porcelanosa and Aqualisa, multiple TV and media points and EV charging points as standard, with a host of options and upgrades depending on the stage of construction.
From £330,000, ‘The Tulipwood’ could be a perfect first home, with two good sized double bedrooms, bathroom, downstairs cloakroom, kitchen/diner and spacious lounge. A larger choice is the semi-detached ‘The Lavender’, from £390,000. Its lounge leads to the open-plan kitchen/dining room, which has bifold doors to the garden, with WC and understairs storage completing the ground-floor layout. Upstairs are three bedrooms and a family bathroom.
The largest of the first release of homes here is ‘The Marlberry’, a three-storey semi-detached house with detached single garage. A highlight of this home is on the top floor, to the large principal bedroom with en suite. The other three bedrooms, together with the family bathroom, are on the first floor, while the ground floor has a spacious lounge, an open-plan kitchen/dining room leading to the garden, and a cloakroom. This property starts at £490,000.
The shops, cafés, restaurants and bars of Solihull town centre are just three miles from The Green, and the Producer's Market, held every first Saturday of the month between April and December, is one of the highlight events there. The town has a multi-screen cinema, two theatres, two parks, a hospital and a number of schools and colleges too. For families, The Green currently falls within the Ofsted-rated ‘Good’ Light Hall School catchment area.
For commuting or leisure, the M42 is only a few minutes away, and Solihull’s railway station, the NEC, and Birmingham International Airport are also easily reached.
