Unveiling Of New Shared Ownership Home Style In Cradley Heath

Posted 29 February 2024 by Keith Osborne

Bromford has released the first of a brand new design of three-bedroom house for sale at its Park Lane site in in Cradley Heath...

New homes provider Bromford has lifted the lid on its latest home styles at its Shared Ownership development in Cradley Heath.

The most recent addition to the Park Lane development, built by five-star builders Countryside Partnerships, is the all-new ‘Bourne’ home style, a contemporary three-bedroom house. It has a welcoming hallway, with a large living space immediately to the left providing the perfect space for hosting guests, winding down or family activities, with the fitted kitchen/dining area to the rear and French doors leading into the turfed back garden. Completing the ground floor is a downstairs bathroom and a storage area beneath the spacious staircase. Upstairs is home to a main bedroom with another large storage space and loft area, while the first floor also hosts a family bathroom and two other rooms which could play many roles including home office or hobby room.

Situated close to the popular commuter route the A458, which connects Halesowen and Stourbridge while linking to road networks further afield, Park Lane comprises a collection of Shared Ownership homes in a variety of styles, with the Worcestershire countryside to the south and the amenities of the thriving Black Country region to the north.

Bromford Shared Ownership gives first-time buyers and those who do not currently own a property the opportunity to secure a new build home with Bromford. Homebuyers pay a mortgage on the share they own, and pay rent on the remaining share, meaning only a smaller deposit is required. The high-quality, energy-efficient homes here have been specifically built to meet the needs of local people, with priority given to applicants with a connection to the Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council area. Those who have lived in, been employed within the area for a number of years, or have family connections to within the borough, are most likely to fulfil the criteria (terms and conditions apply).

Catherine Jarrett, director of sales and marketing at Bromford, said: “We are incredibly excited to be pulling back the curtain on this brand new home style at Park Lane. Our partnership with Countryside means that these homes will be built to a high specification, and as such we don’t expect the ‘Bourne’ to be on the market for too long.”

The development is nearby many popular amenities, such as Homer Hill Park and a number of gyms, as well as multiple eating establishments. The River Stour flows to the north of the development, and there are a number of large and independent stores nearby to service the local community.

Families are well served by a selection of local schools, such as Cradley C of E Primary School and Colley Lane Primary academy rated as ‘Outstanding’ and ‘Good’ respectively in their latest Ofsted inspections. For older children, there is the Windsor High School and Sixth Form, rated ‘Good’ and situated less than two miles away.

Prices start at £110,000 for a 40% share (full market value £225,000). Find out more about Park Lane from Bromford.
