Summer Moving Event This Weekend At West Lothian Scheme

Posted 15 March 2023 by Keith Osborne

Taylor Wimpey will be hosting a special event for house-hunters at its Calderwood development in East Calder...

Prospective homebuyers who would like to be enjoying this summer in a new home are invited along to Taylor Wimpey East Scotland’s Summer Moving event on Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 March at its Calderwood development in East Calder.

From 11.00am to 4.30pm each day, prospective buyers can be inspired by the development’s two show homes, visit two new homes that are available to move into now – the ‘Geddes’ and ‘Douglas’, both four-bedroom detached homes – and have a chat with an IFA who is happy to provide free financial advice on mortgages.

On selected new three-, four- and five-bedroom homes that are available to move in for summer, buyers can also take advantage of a moving gift contribution from Taylor Wimpey East Scotland of up to £20,250 (subject to terms and conditions). Customers will have the choice of how best to use this offer depending on their circumstances, whether that’s a contribution towards LBTT paid, or perhaps a deposit or mortgage contribution. Taylor Wimpey’s 100% Part Exchange scheme is also available which creates a stress-free and easy way for buyers with a property to sell to get on the move to a new home with Taylor Wimpey as their guaranteed buyer.

Kirsty McGill, sales and marketing director for Taylor Wimpey East Scotland, commented: “With a choice of new homes available to move into this summer at Calderwood, a visit to our Summer Moving event is a great opportunity for house-hunters to find out how we can help them to make their move to a new home a reality.

“Our event is also an ideal opportunity to see first-hand how the new community of Calderwood has grown over the last few years. As the masterplan vision for the area comes to life our customers are already enjoying the benefits of new local amenities, which include a new primary school.

“Wherever buyers are on their property journey, our experienced sales team at Calderwood is on hand to help them find a new home that suits their needs and to chat through the range of tailored offers that we have available on selected new homes, including our 100% PX scheme.”

To find out more, prospective buyers can pop along to Taylor Wimpey’s Summer Moving event, which is taking place at Calderwood on Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 March from 11.00am to 4.00pm. No appointments are needed.
