Deadline Approaches On Housebuilder’s Kent Offers

Posted 15 February 2023 by Keith Osborne

There’s a limited time to make the most of Persimmon Homes’ great deals on some of its new Kent properties…

House-hunters in Kent who are keen to pursue their New Year’s resolution to find an ideal brand new home in 2023 have only a limited time to get the benefits of a special deal that Persimmon Homes is offering at its developments in the county.

The offer is available, subject to terms and conditions, on properties reserved by 28 February 2023. Qualifying buyers can choose between the chance to live mortgage-free for the first ten months in their new home, or taking up the opportunity of 105% Part Exchange, meaning a bonus on top of the independent valuation of their existing property.

In Chatham, Colonial Wharf is situated in a private waterside development overlooking the quayside out into the Medway. When completed, this site will have a mix of apartments and houses to suit many budgets and requirements. ‘The Greyfriars Corner’ is a striking example of the choice of townhouses for sale here. This house has a spacious open-plan kitchen/breakfast room and a dining room on the ground floor, a living room and en suite bedroom on the first floor and two more bedrooms and a bathroom on the top floor. This home starts at £435,000. ‘The Longford’ is another option, priced from £465,000 and including an integral garage. It has four bedrooms and a study, a kitchen/dining room and a first-floor reception room.

Rainham is another Medway town and it’s where Otterham Park is taking shape with a mix of two-, three- and four-bedroom homes within walking distance of the station served by National Rail and High Speed trains. Here, ‘The Hatfield’ is one of the current three-bedroom house types for sale here. This detached house combines traditional and modern external appearance while inside there’s a utility room off the kitchen/dining room, a separate lounge, an en suite to one bedroom and a bathroom to serve the other two. ‘The Leicester’, from £435,000, is a four-bedroom, three-storey alternative with a top floor dedicated to the spacious main bedroom with en suite. There’s private parking at the front of the home.

‘The Greenwich’‘The Greenwich’ house type

Located on the southern edge of Ashford is Bridgefield, where there are three- and four-bedroom homes that will be ready for occupation this year. There’s some lovely surrounding countryside but it’s only 10 minutes’ drive to the town centre and railway station. It’s only a few minutes to the M20, too. Here, ‘The Linton’, from £350,000, could make the ideal first home, semi-detached with a contemporary design with a front-aspect kitchen, separate living/dining room, downstairs cloakroom, bathroom, and an en suite to one of its three bedrooms. ‘The Greenwich’, from £457,500, is a larger detached home that will attract the attention of families with its modern exterior design, four bedrooms (one en suite) and a downstairs layout which has open-plan kitchen/dining/family room, a living room and a useful utility area.

Gravesend has been undergoing major regeneration and benefits from its regular High Speed rail services. Just a seven-minute drive away and close to the A2, Persimmon is building Watermans Park here , which is a collection of two-, three-, four- and five-bedroom homes complemented by play areas and two trim trails. Bluewater Shopping Centre and M25 are both around 10 minutes away. It’s not just houses here – apartments start at £280,000 for a two-double-bedroom property on the second floor of The Margery House block. The fitted kitchen leads to the dual-aspect living/dining room ans the layout is completed by the bathroom and a handy storage cupboard. At the other end of the scale here right now is an impressive detached family home called ‘The Chedworth’, which is priced from £600,000. This double-fronted house has a kitchen/family room with French doors to the garden, a living room, dining room, utility room, four bedrooms (one with en suite) and a family bathroom.
