Pentland Homes is hosting a dedicated Help to Buy event at Saxon Fields near Canterbury on Saturday 1 August.

Taking place between 10.00am and 4.00pm and strictly by socially-distanced appointment, it’s an opportunity to meet experts who can explain the government-backed scheme and how it can benefit both first- and second-time buyers with just a 5% deposit, as well as the current Stamp Duty holiday.

Saxon Fields is a distinctive Art Deco development providing the best of both town and country, on the border of the cultured city of Canterbury and five-minute drive from rolling Kent countryside.

Karrina Oki, sales and marketing director at Pentland Homes, said: “Help to Buy is a fantastic scheme and has helped first and second steppers across the country get onto the property ladder with just a 5% deposit.

“We have seen a surge in interest from second-steppers who are keen to take advantage of Help to Buy scheme before the 2021 deadline. The combination of the fast-approaching Help to Buy deadline and the Chancellor's announcement for a Stamp Duty holiday has kicked people into action and second-steppers are seeing it as a great time to upsize."

Saxon FieldsLiving spaces form the heart of the ground floors and depending on the individual plot, offer an open-plan kitchen-living space, or a reception/study and separate kitchen/family room. Premium-quality kitchens are fully fitted with integrated Neff appliances and a range of kitchen door units, worktops, up-stands and splashbacks can be chosen to suit buyers' individual style. Prices at the development start from £347,000.

Master-planned alongside The Prince's Foundation, Saxon Fields will have extensive green spaces including allotments, a cricket pitch, play areas, meadow, parks and wetland areas, encouraging wildlife to flourish. The development will also contain a brand new primary school, doctor's surgery, community centre, office campus and shops for everyday essentials.

Book an appointment on [email protected] 01797 361151.

Social Distancing Disclaimer: Temperatures will be taken from readers at entrance. All appointments have screens between customers and staff and sanitised before each appointment. Masks, hand sanitiser and gloves will be available.
