Buyer Assistance At Sites in Hampshire and Dorset

Help To Buy, the Stamp Duty holiday and 95% mortgage guarantees are assisting at Pennyfarthing Homes developments...

Prospective buyers across the New Forest and Dorset are receiving great financial assistance in purchasing a Pennyfarthing Homes property thanks to Help to Buy, the Stamp Duty holiday and new guaranteed mortgages.

Those looking to get onto the property ladder can use Help to Buy, being made exclusive to first-time buyers from 1 April. The scheme allows buyers to secure their dream home with just a 5% deposit, with the government lending 20% towards the cost of the home – interest-free for the first five years – and the remaining 75% mortgage making up the total purchase sum.

In the spring Budget, the Stamp Duty holiday introduced last summer was extended to the end of June and makes now an even better time to make that move, giving young and growing families the chance to save up to £15,000 on their next home.

Also being introduced next month is the new 95% mortgage guarantee scheme, which enables existing homeowners and first-time buyers the chance to purchase a new property with a 5% deposit, meaning they’re able to move quicker than expected or buy a larger home than first thought.
