Boorley Green Development Launched
Miller Homes Southern has officially unveiled its new Boorley Gardens development, bringing new homes to the Hampshire village of Boorley Green.
The development, situated off Winchester Road in Boorley Green, is a consortium agreement between Bellway Homes and Miller Homes. The latter’s portion of land at the site will see 323 one- to four-bedroom homes built, and house-hunters can now book virtual appointments and reserve homes online. Its first release of homes include the three-bedroom ‘Edale’ and ‘Downshire’ and the two-bedroom ‘Lomond’ house types.
Commenting on the new neighbourhood’s virtual launch and the importance of investment into the Boorley Green community, Katrina Crawford, sales and marketing director at Miller Homes Southern, said: “Creating welcoming and well-connected communities for new residents is always at the top of our list when launching new neighbourhoods, and Boorley Gardens is no exception to this ethos. We’ve seen recently just how important our local communities are and how even the smallest gesture of kindness or act of generosity can make such a difference.

The scheme will see the two housebuilders contribute more than £11.4million over the course of the new neighbourhood’s lifetime. Some £8.7million goes towards the funding at local primary and secondary schools in the community. The rest of the budget is injected into such things as the neighbourhood’s healthcare services, transport link improvements and the creation of new recreational areas, including a state-of-the-art artificial sports pitch, improvements towards open spaces, as well as a new play area for local residents and families to benefit from.
Crawford added: “We’re also hugely proud to have begun work on our new Hampshire neighbourhood; proving just how desirable this corner of the world is. Boorley Green in particular is a beautiful village, surrounded by wall-to-wall countryside. However, it’s still a great location for commuters, with strong transport links to the south coast and major nearby cities, which is why it is a great location for a range of house-hunters.”
