Last Chances At North Yorkshire Scheme

Posted 14 July 2021 by Keith Osborne

Only three- and five-bedroom houses remain for sale at Miller Homes' Sherwood Croft in Thorpe Willoughby...

Sherwood Croft, a new homes development in the delightful rural, North Yorkshire location of Thorpe Willoughby has sold over 95% of its properties, leaving only a few properties left for sale there.

The Miller Homes development that has welcomed almost 170 buyers and the remaining homes are priced from £184,995 for a three-bedroom ‘Hawthorne’ style of home. Five bedroom homes are available from £379,995.

“Thorpe Willoughby really is the perfect location to call home and many of our residents chose the development for its close proximity to the historic town of Selby and City of York,” said Sarah Whinfrey, regional sales manager, Miller Homes Yorkshire. “In addition, many are happy that they can enjoy plenty of open spaces close by, whilst being able to commute to larger towns when required giving them a great flexible lifestyle.”

The homes that are currently available can be reserved through the housebuilder’s online reservation option. This allows buyers to reserve the home online subject to availability, pay a reservation fee and then visit the development sales centre within 72 hours to confirm the reservation. It supports buyers to secure their preferred brand-new home at a time that is initially convenient to them, and also reflects the changing habits of buyers both during and the pandemic and beyond.

“The time has simply flown by since we opened our doors in April 2017 and it’s been very positive to see the community develop as we’ve welcomed more and more residents,” added Whinfrey. “Even as we draw to a close it’s great to be able to offer our final buyers a helping hand to secure their brand-new home in a really lovely location.”
