Keith OsborneMiller Homes is hosting an event to help first-time buyers see the availability of new homes at the successfully launched Seaham Garden Village development on Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 January 2024.
Running from 10.30am until 5.30pm, the event also offers the benefit of free financial advice from an independent financial adviser.
Work has begun to create a garden village on Durham’s heritage coastline, with open space, sustainable living and well-designed, energy-efficient houses being key principles of the new £250million Seaham Garden Village development.
Miller Homes North East is is creating 72 three-, four- and five-bedroom houses in its first phase here and has already sold a third of those due to be built this year. In all, the housebuilder will be delivering 375 new build homes and the new village will include a primary school, an innovation centre and a community hub.
Comprising a variety of house styles, the first Miller Homes properties are currently due for completion in late spring. Prices right now start at £199,950 for the three-bedroom/two-bathroom semi-detached ‘Ingleton’, rising to £348,950 for the four-bedroom detached ‘Beauwood’ with en suite principal bedroom and a single garage.
Subject to terms and conditions, some homes hare available through a choice of assistance schemes: 5% deposit paid plus carpets included; Part Exchange with a deposit contribution; or your mortgage paid for up to 12 months with carpets included.
Selling is well underway from the company’s Trinity Green development at Pelton, County Durham prior to its show home opening at Seaham Garden Village later in the year.
Less than half-an-hour’s drive from both Newcastle and Durham and sited on the East Coast train line, Seaham is well placed for those looking for semi-rural living.
“Buyers are clearly attracted by the location, the facilities and the space for families to grow and thrive,” said Lauren Angus, sales director at Miller Homes North East. “Garden Villages are unique, innovative and are ultimately, all about creating great places to live. Beautifully and imaginatively designed homes and additional community facilities will be at the forefront, but all sitting within a range of open space and landscaping.”
