Keith OsborneCameron Hall Homes launched the construction of Stoney Wood late last year and is opening for sale on Thursday 1 February with the first of 157 energy-efficient three- to five-bedroom luxury homes in the picturesque locale of Wynyard, Tees Valley.
One October morning, the official launch took place with a special guest, Sir John Hall, the visionary behind the Metro Centre and the revered Life President of Newcastle United Football Club.
The development will be delivering a high-specification, diverse range of bungalows and family homes. There will also be a vibrant commercial character, featuring an authentic Italian restaurant, a community hub for the parish council, a charming café and deli, and an array of services designed to enrich the lives of both local residents and the broader community.
The interiors will have fixtured and fittings from numerous global brands, including Neff, Bora, Laufen, Katell, and Porcelanosa, and there are also features including solar panels and high-efficiency air source heat pumps as standard, ensuring sustainability and eco-friendliness. Complementing these eco-conscious elements, ground-floor underfloor heating and state-of-the-art smart technology for lighting and speakers are included as standard. All are EPC-A rated, meaning they are at the top level for energy efficiency and much less costly to heat than many comparable older properties.
The first releases are priced from £459,995 to £799,995 and illustrate the contemporary architectural design, using brick, natural slate stone and wood to hint at local tradition with thoroughly modern accents.
‘The Alnwick’ is a double-fronted detached house that comes with double garage and driveway. Off one side of the welcoming hallway is a lounge with feature fireplace, on the other the spacious L-shaped open-plan kitchen/dining/family room, with doors to the garden, a utility room and cloakroom. Three of the four bedrooms are comfortable doubles, two of which have an en suite. The fourth bedroom is a single that would make a great home office or hobby room. The family bathroom completes the layout. This house is prices at £459,995.
For buyers seeking ‘lateral living’, the bungalow type called ‘The Aydon’ could fit the bill. This is a very generously sized property which comes with integral single garage. All three of the bedrooms are doubles, bedroom one having an en suite shower room – the others share the family bathroom. The hub of the home is at the rear, with doors to the garden. This open-plan kitchen/dining/family room has a feature inglenook fireplace and a utility room leading to the garage. A separate lounge at the front of the home is another flexible reception room. There’s a lot of storage space throughout, too. This home is priced at £589,995.
Top of the range right now, at £799,995, is ‘The Lindisfarne’, a detached house with five double bedrooms. Two of them have an en suite shower room, while the principal bedroom has a dressing area with fitted wardrobes and an en suite with bathtub, walk-in shower and twin basins. Downstairs, at the front, is a lounge with Inglenook fireplace, and on the other side of the hallway, a dedicated study and a cloakroom. The main living area is huge, and open-plan space combining kitchen, dining and two lounge spaces that make the most of the natural light coming through the large windows and bifold doors to the garden. A utility/boot room has plentiful extra storage and its own door to the outside. This house comes with a detached double garage and block paved driveway.
